Oh, thanks for the info. Though, honestly, I still don't understand about elite back-up and back-up things. I suspect they're just fancy words for 2nd and 3rd stringers, respectively?
i think it is 99.99% comfirmed that all the winner of 2008 vietnam international challenge from mas will not go vietnam to defend their title....:crying:
Yup, pretty much . Elit back up = TCS, CWF,Liew Daren, Arif, Lydia Cheah, Julia Wong. Back up = CKB, Lim fang yang, etc. MD = the older ones = elit back up, the younger ones like Mak, Teo KS, Voluntus are back up, differentiated more by age. WD = only WPT/CEH are in elit, the rest are in one lump = WKW, Goh LY, Ng HL, Chong SC & recent addition of Vivian Ho. XD : not much difference, since many still experimenting.
actually, there are more than what u list. those not famous+not much good result player is still under training....
ok,i have try my best to get list from thailand. but i only have the ws list here it is: ratchanok intanon(player to watch in future, she already able to beat porntip and she just 14 imagine tat) chanida nichaon sapsilee
Surprised that Pakkawat is still playing...been told that he retired...again Nigerian players.....dont think they will show up..
haha, thanks hauge^^ ya he still playing.been informed that he will play but forget to say it here.sorry
Frans/Pia ismore likely permanent in XD...Rizal/Frans is just trying out while they are there. Also debby/Pia...nto sure if it can be permanent as both are playing XD also unless they win this tourney........
so far, no any info about some tourney in BAC website ? Why BAC website is worst and lazy to update any info compare the others ? European allways post M/Q list, Draw on time, Pan American updated the results when finish in a day, even Africa Confederation's website still better than BAC website.
I heard from the National Team people that Fran-Pia has a good playing chemestry... Good for them... I suppose they don't get enough attention from Pak Sutiyoso, the BAC head, who is working on becoming the next President of Indonesia. As for my prediction of this Vietnam Challenge: INA will take all 3 titles in MD, WD, and XD. INA just got too much firepower in the doubles sector this time around. Unfortunately, due to the lack of rankings of our 5 XD, I am afraid that [even with the 'national separation' rule in place], some of our XDs have to fight a forced 'civil war' in the earlier rounds... MS will be the hardest to grab because Nguyen, Andrew Smith, Hu Yun, Wong Ki Wong, Kashap, Roslin Hasyim, and the MAS Juniors are there... WS will be up for grab between INA and JPN... I expect Kaori vs. Febe in the finals... But we will see... Hopefully, we will see a draw where the Japanese ladies have to get through our Srikandis first. Nana, Fira, Aprillia, and Febe can give problems for the players at the level of Uchida, Kaori etc.
in the Philippines Team: "our new RP" MS/MD: Paul VIvas Ronnel Estanislao WS: Malvinne "poca" Alcala XD: Aditya Ariffin/Poca Alcala WISH YOU LUCK!
Can you arrange a Philippine Challenge after this...? We from INA will gladly join your party if you have one... and please join our Indonesia Challenge later this year...
Believe it or not...they have not made the draw yet and Badminton Asia is a bit useless ( in my opinion)..never confirmed the entry list from Vietnam association.....
