Anyway, LYD plays with 32 lbs.

Yes, I usually play with 30 lbs with my APACs and there's no issue. However, seems like I'm getting a hang of BS9@28 yesterday. Would review once more in the near future.

My advice to u is do not drop your tension to 25, stick to 28 tension... slowly when yr skill is up, its time to move up to tension 30

kiko: thanks dude. i was thinking the same too. but it's likely that i stick to 28 lbs as i feel that this is a good tension to play with. 30 lbs is nice, but i don't need the extra control. anyway, i have never played badminton until last year july, and i have been playing every night (maybe +/- 20 rest days when i went oversea or daddy duties) for at least 6 - 7 matches.

i'm still quite bad at backhand but i think my overall play is decent enough.

Stringing at different machine get different tension even though you using the same string at same lbs, like some stringer using a old machine with long time never do the calibration for the machine.the tension might a few lbs lower than actual tension. Elaine using a brand new eletronic stringing machine at the new shop at peminpin.i think the tension strung is much more appropriate or accurate. but 1 thing i don like is she is not so frendly. very moody person.

yes, i find that too... tension by different stringers are different. i usually stick with my stringer shop @ queensway. the next string needs to give me repulsion over control...

Brother Petertan , what string do u use , i recommend u use Victor 850, its use by the korean team , its replusion, defensive , smash are all very good. In my opinion , its a combination of Yonex BG 65 & 66.

hey bro, i use victor 850 for my BS9. i totally agree that it's quite a good all-rounded string.

I used many types of strings - NG98@30 for APACS Tantrum 200, BG-65Ti@30 for APACS 9900, BG-68Ti@28 for APACS Rapier (Z-Slash), Gamma 0.64@25 for YY NS 500 and BG-66@23 for APACS ES9 & Cab 8.

I find that NG-98 got great repulsion but it feels detached. BG-65Ti fits 9900 like a glove as it tough enough for smashes (9900 good for smashes). BG-68Ti is brilliant for APACS Rapier but should go for a lower 26 lbs to increase repulsion. My Nanospeed 500 is head-heavy hence it's a mistake to go for thin gauge strings at such a low tension. As for APACS ES9 and Cab 8, I don't use much, so not much comments.

usually goes for NG-98/BG-68Ti/BG-65Ti for my other rackets

I have but not the High end ones. In France, Decathlon does not carry the X-Feel models. The only way to get them is via the internet or on tournaments. What I can say is that it is very popular in France.

Just to let you guys know that stocks of SH8600D have arrived at the warehouse 2 days ago along with the Korean Thomas/Uber Cup jerseys. The SH8600D cost S$120 but the prices for the jerseys have not been confirmed yet. The SH8600 ACE did not arrive in this shipment.

Thanks for the information, I have been waiting for the SH8600 series shoes to arrive here in Singapore. Other than the colour scheme for the SH8600D and SH8600ACE, is there any difference in the material use?

    Hi Chris,

I think it's time to install a NETS machine at your place. By having a NETS machine, it makes it easier for people to BUY MORE stuffs because they are not restricted by how much cash they have in their wallet.

    Hi Chris,

I agree with petertan_sg as it is alot more convenient for customers to pay by nets and they will tend to spend more :)

With credit card even better as they do not need to wait for pay day. Or like electronic 12 months instalment scheme. I might buy whole series myself so my wife won notice how much i spent. :p
