I fully support VG650! I trust the string is made in Japan. Taiwanese still unable to produce a string with that feeling which very close to BG66.

Finally BG66 has its close competitor in the market. Good news to all the players!

BG 66 is better. Try this VG650 on my Arc10. I think i prefer either BG 80 or 66 more. Price wise same as 66 . But String seems tougher than BG 66 though

    Hmmm...a very intriguing comparison between vg650 & bg66.
My speculation - this "thicker" feeling is due to the multi-filament construction of vg650 which is more than bg66 construction. Hence, durability is higher.

Is there any feedback on vg650's performance in holding tension & string grip? These are 2 areas I personally dislike abt bg66.

Until know also I can't this string in KL...haih

String grip is maybe better than bg 66 but bg 80 string grip is better. But this is personal feeling. You can give it a try. I play for 2 session i cannot say how long the tension will hold

After playing with this string for 1 month plus with weekly of about 7 to 8 hour of play. I can say this string is not worth your time. Initially, the string is like a cross between BG 66 and BG 80. However, tension drops very fast. Loses the crispness of new string very fast. So I will stick to yonex string. Hope it helps.

This string is good initially but the tension drops very quickly....... Better stick to BG66.

You used it too modious? I just string it last month and now it is so soft. But cutting it up is such a waste of money.

Yes. I used for 7 sessions and the tension dropped drastically. I cut the strings and re-strung it with NBG98, my favourite string. BG66 is the 2nd choice when NBG98 is out of stock or when I have no money...... :D

After 7 session? You must be playing at very high tension to notice to dramatical drop. I strung mine at 23lbs. Now it is like the yonex factory tension. Hope to change it to BG85 at 25lb soon

For those who have used this string, how much tension does it drop? I am going to get this string and have it strung for my girlfriend and I'm looking to get the tension around 22lbs after it drops.

Poor durability. String breaks too easily. A very fragile string.
