    Update:

Coming soon: a new and completely redesigned Panda Power Precision Limited Edition.

    Specs:
    Weight: 85-88g
    BP 290-300
    Stiffness: 7.5-8.0
    Grip: G5

The new Precision is actually going to be used by a current, active top international player.
He was so impressed with the new Precision he's purchasing 15 of them with his own money.

    The new Precision benefits:

    1) Much stronger frame than its predecessor, warranted up to 32lbs. ECP string tension.
Using Toray M40J graphite (30% stronger/more tensile strength than M40, at a loss of only 3% in stiffness)

    2) Improved butt cap
    3) Improved finish
    4) Stronger, more durable shaft.

Will post an image of the design in about a day.

    Thanks all!

Congratulations on the new design and its professional supporter, Dan!! :)
Would his current sponsor ever allow him to use a PP racket in competition?
How cool would that be!
(Such international exposure would be all the more reason to release those PP shirts some day.) ;)

BTW -- looking at the time stamp on your announcement -- do you ever sleep?

Those stats sound nice, I always felt the precision was too flimsy for me but love the speed, hope this improved one is alot better :D

Specs sound pretty good for the new Precision Limited Edition. Any word allowed on who this professional international player is? ;)

^ I have my suspicions as to who it is, but don't want to look like an idiot by guessing and if being wrong...

Ya, I have a couple suspects as well :D Although we probably won't see him using it in any competition. Sponsors are a little unflexible in that regard :D

If it is totally redesigned, why is it still being called the precision?

    cuz it's still precise....? :D
Nah, but probably because it's still a rather quick racket and kinda easy on the arm compared to the rest of the line-up...and defensive with the right specs

not really easy compared to the rest of the lineup - it's more difficult than all of the trinitys (ies?)!

Well then it's the Precision DX :p The frame shape should still be similar though....otherwise I would have to concede there's no reason to call it Precision :D

Redesigned in what way? New shaft and head or just graphics..

Just trying to understand the difference, I assume you mean a different racket with the same aims of the original precision?

Shaft is the same thickness as the tried and true Trinity. The frame profile is very similar to the original Precision but thinner.

Yes, doing the matte black finish with silver writing.

The original Precision was not as strong structurally as desired. This new one is a tank, much stronger.

It replaces the old Precision. It's as simple as that.
