But they sure will recommend to do something as professional looking as it.

Okay, I finally bought one, despite the little demon on my shoulder telling me "You know it's going to be too stiff for you, don't you".

    We shall see....

I'd be very interested to know how you find it. Your current go to racket is the SW35 right?

No, I flick between the BS10 and BS12. I had a SW35 for a little while though and quite liked it's solidity, but it was strung too tight and for some reason the handle was too fat no matter what I did, so my relationship with it was a bit up and down. I almost bought another one but wanted to try some newer models.

    Lol!
When that shoulder starts hurting, then you'll have to flick off that little demon...

But seriously, after my shoulder hurting initially from using the mx80 for the first few sessions, it's much better now... I think my body has adapted and gotten stronger.

Omg today I finally caved in from the suffering lol. I feel like an old man. My knee is achey and now my shoulder has pain in it too. Quite a sharp pain at certain angles too. I really should not have played so many hours last week with the VT80. Weeks before no matter how long I played with the MX80 I was fine, but now even todays 3 hour session with the MX80, my shoulder was hurting the whole time.

I blame the VT80 for the two sessions prior. Not sure whether I should give the coming Wednesday's 3 hour session a miss or play anyway...

But yea, usually I'm dropping bombs without returns but today, with my shoulder pains I wasn't close to maximum power. Felt horrible not having that confidence in power. Usually I'd reign them down but today it just wasn't happening...

    Hmmm...decisions decisions...

I'm planning on going to see a PT to get on a program to strengthen my upper body. I'm a cyclist so the legs, back and lungs are generally okay, but my shoulder is fine one night, sore the next. Doesn't matter which racket I use, really.

I must be getting old :)

Anyway, hurry up Eric! I want new toyz! :D

So, ended up going with white strings, now just have to decide on the grip colour. Thinking maybe red....

Got an 85g one. The lead patches are for experimenting with on my BS11.

Cyclist, ...shouldn't your shoulders be stronger from repetitive treading of those steep and punishing cobblestones terrain:)?

I have always had a good laugh in an endearing manner everytime someone liken a (slightly) flexible racket to a wet noodle:).

Anyways, to the point, would a medium stiff racket benefit more from a 22-24 lbs tension or 30-32 lbs. tension in your opinion? Thanks.

This is moving away from topic. For me, I like stiff rackets @ 27-28lbs.

Bro so try the MX80 with BG66 Ultimax at 29lbs. Slighty smaller sweetsppt but does reap benefits.

    I can't handle BG66M @ 26lbs so I doubt 29 is going to reap me any benefits.

For discussion sake, all else being equal (bp and weight except racket stiffness), how would you string a wet noodle (again, in an endearing manner:)) MX80 compared to the much stiffer VT80 (doesn't matter whether you like it or not...this is just for the sake of discussion)? Same stringing tension for both?

    Thanks again.

    ^^
    lol!
    vt80 much stiffer than mx80?

vt80 may be head heavier, but mx80 is no wet noodle...
in fact, it is very much stiffer to play
