Put briefly, a manual machine stops when it reaches the desired tension, but an ECP machine keeps pulling.

Pull a piece of chewing gum apart and stop your hands suddenly - the strand of gum sags in the middle; the same thing happens with strings in a manual machine:).

I have the feeling that my new ArcSaber FB isn't strung very well. I notice how the strings shifts a bit so that it's no longer straight after playing a game. I'm not sure if that properly conveys the issue that I'm facing. My Adidas Duoforce's strings stays more consistent regardless of the number of games that I play. Is this normal?

If the string shifts a bit after a few games, it is still alright. However, if it shifts everytime you hit the shuttle, i recommend that you find a new stringer. What strings are you using anyway?

Depends on the string and tension.

All strings move around a lot, but some come back to their position better than others. Rougher strings can't go back to their position by themself because of the higher amount of friction.

ZM65 and it shifts a bit after every game. It rarely shifts with my Duoforce and it's done by the same stringer.

It's ZM65 and I don't notice much if any string movements on my Duoforce. It's also strung by the same guy.

New strings will move around more than old strings since they havn't had time to notch into each other, and lower tensions will be more so. Perfectly normal, just straighten them out after each point, especially if you slice a lot.

Are the stringbed frequencies similar, or is the FB lower... because it's been more used and strung longer while ago.

You'll see pros straightening strings during games, and their rackets have usually come right off the machine.

As the strings bite into each other, you won't be straightening them as much.

Sgt_Strider has been playing quite a number of games. The strings should sink in by now.

Zymax strings don't notch so easily ime. Most likely his FB has lost some tension with playtime so it'll move more easily.

Again, I didn't notice that with my Duoforce. Even after 10 hours of play, the strings move on my Arc FB. I can't quite figure out why. I'm getting suspicious of the fact that he may have done a bad job with this.

No idea, I don't have the time to use that test of yours to figure out the stringbed frequencies.

I think I have played 10 hours of badminton with the ZM65 over a period of 1.5 weeks. It should have settled down by now, but it's not. Funny thing is that I don't notice this issue with my Duoforce. Same string and same tension, but different colours (white and yellow).

Already? It's been less than 2 weeks and I have played about 10 hours with that FB. I'm thinking of going to a new stringer for my next job. Fortunately the racket is still performing alright. I don't think it's affecting my performance, but I don't want to take the chance again.

Just strum it with your nails like a guitar and listen to it. Which one sounds lower pitch? I'd guess your FB, if it's moving so much more.

Yes; drop-weights are closer to constant pull.
