Yes, Mogensen is using VT70. Also, they won the AE2011 with this VT80/VT70 combination, so I don't think it's got much to do with rackets!

Well its imposible to pin point exactly how but the evidence is that Boe/Mogensen has not won a single match for Denmark during the whole Sudirman cup, and they played againt relatively weaker opponents.

There have been some interesting results in the Sudirman Cup. The Victor wielding Korean pair (World no. 2) lost to a Malaysian pair that hadn't even played a professional game together this year.

Yes but at least they trashed CY/FHF and also Boe/Mogensen arguably 2 of the world best pairs up to date. Compare that to Boe/Mogensen.....:( they lost to MA/AY, LSM/FCM, LYD/JJS, and i bet Boe/Mogensen will lose again tonite againts CY/FHF.

Looking at their form, they probably won't even be picked to play!

Yes, not surprising. They are really off form and probably have had their confidence dashed. Three straight losses is not good, and I think at least two out of three matches went to 3 tough and close sets. They are probably physically and mentally drained at this time.

BTW does anyone notice LD changed his grip style again? Now he only put it in the middle of the handle (and taped the top and bottom part of the handle)

From a closer look its actually even way all up high above the cone (like the doubles grip), and nothing on the bottom

Mogensen is playing with Rasmussen, Boe is not (I think he's injured from yesterday)

The Yonex DK code means the racquet is for Denmark aka the Danish region...

    There you go :D

14.5kg and 15kg convert to approximately 32 and 33lbs respectively.

Hi Blitzzards, are those rackets 3U or 4U?

The grip looks thin enough to be G5 or even G6 !

Looks like it should be a 4UG4 browsing the various danish webshops ...
G3 probably because that's what they imported for Denmark in the past, like our BX ones usually. Only seem to have 4U available of which I assume there is no G3 version and the one shop that listed the grip size as well has it as 4UG4.

80 (W) I guess they didn't have the blue ones :D? Glad to report the blue ones come in reels .

I'd be surprised if he was using a 4U version. Then again, he's more of a "placement of shot" player and not so much a power player. Hard to tell grip sizes in a photograph, but it's probably a G5.

There is no G5 in Denmark and I wouldn't put it beyond him to use a 4U now with this rally point system and more quick exchanges (as I believe he has mentioned before and adjusted his game to).
G3 like Dokkie mentioned was the first thing that came to my mind as well and consequently a 3U would be the natural choice but seeing as they've chosen to import the 4U, G3 is out of the question. Our markets aren't that big for multiple weight/grip combo's ;) (under the assumption a minimum number has to be imported for each combo).
Also it looks like the original grip has been removed and replaced with some black tape and the plastic wrap. In pic 3 you can see some spacing right? Speculating :p further DP code might just be a weight/grip combo that wasn't chosen by the importer and requested by the sponsored player.
