Don’t place too much hope on the Selangor Close. It has been two years the last competition was held. See what politics and crazy for power can do to Selangor Badminton Association which is currently run by a bunch of retirees, who know nuts about badminton. Agreed that these retirees are experienced people but they have to change their perception and acknowledge that change is necessary for any progress. They cannot keep holding to old formula which are no longer relevant. What a shame for Selangor, being the most progressive state. The Selangor Close is scheduled for first week of December and to date neither notice nor forms are out. The current organizer is in disarray and last minute arrangement will only be made to just push through the competition. It is a big MESS!!
Then what will happen?? Unless they are going to tell us it will be delayed again...its been 2 years....since sel close... btw, JOAnne...help me see k??? love u muakcs !!!! Haha !!!
I'm hoping to gain something through this mess.. like the date is postponed. I'll probably crash out 1st round, but still want to play, hoping to see some quality games and old friends. Zhi Wei, we'll just sit back and wait lah.. worry about OUR impending future.. comes in 3 letters.. SPM.

helo again, KL Open start today...phew, so many good players everywhere...Penang, Perak, KL, Negri and even Japan. However, very leceh wan lah, light too bright & sometimes dark at cetain place, court too slippery, shuttle given recycled.....and windy here & there. Guess what? don't even know what is the champion prize? Can't play like Lin Dan if i don't know is there to win.

Haha.. how on earth did you find out?? Oki lah, it was enjoyable, since played with friends. So how did you fare today? Shuttle given recycled?? How can?? KL Open somemore.. Where is it? KLBA? Doesn't sound like KLBA's courts.. Champion prize? Play for your own self-satisfaction and for the title lah, not to win some material thing.. even if all they do is give a medal(which they won't, it's KL OPEN), you still win the title.. most important. Hehe.

woah guys..today i went to my saturday training..i didnt play that well today..making alot of mistakes at the net..at the end of the day..my coach let me and my partner play doubles with a state doubles pair..we were stuggling through most of the first game..but managed to win it 21-18..i actually played quite well at the net that time..then the second set came..we were leading 8-3 and then 13-11 but then they took the lead at 20-18..me and my partner tried to calm down and we caught up to level it at 20-20..my partner contributed the two last points..he returned some "impossible" shots back to our opponent and we won the game at 21-18 22-20..so happy..haha

i think its just lucky la..haha..we just kept attacking one person..and kept the shuttle low ..im good at net kills..so i stand infront and keep doing flat returns..and they just lost..haha..fun
i prefer doubles..i played singles with my coach and lost 21-12 in a 25 minute plus battle..i wanted to play 2nd game but it was already time to go home...
