Maybe it's like a car spoiler, but for a shark, as a racket. /sarcasm

This has been misinterpreted. There is a new special material used which they call shark skin due to its aerodynamic qualities. I had a Jetspeed ST in my hands laast week and can feel the difference in material. How that translates to playability is anyones guess at the moment.

Then they're probably just reusing their Flumetec technology from their Flumetec series which was available in EU.

It's just a surface dimple effect to disturb the laminar airflow of the racket, much like the dimples on a golf ball reducing air drag.

No they are not using this technology at all. I remember Flumetec very well and this is something I've never felt before. This coating is applied on the inside of the frame near T piece. I can't say what it does and I'm pretty sure you won't smash any harder but that's what Victor is testing.

Don't fall for it. That's North America they're referring to. It'll be out in Asia next month. And it's easy to source it thru the internet. ;)

Saw some prices on Facebook today -

    Pretty good IMO

JS8PS and JS8ST - both RM399/RM400 depending on which dealer you go with. All for preorder and one dealer offering some goodies with it too.

Jetspeed will eventually replace Bravesword. but not this year. they will still have the BS11/12/15/LHI, my guess is that they are in transition and series like the Superwave took a few years to phase out by the TK series. Superwave is finally gone for good now. similar would happen to the Bravesword. i think the 12 is probably selling so well they won't get rid of it.

and BS will trickle down to the very confusing mid/lower end market.

however, the BS LYD will be gone this year. so buy them up if you seriously like it.

the trend is good though, since now Victor has made their product lines more well defined, like what Yonex do.

TK = heavy heavy , similar to Voltric
MX = all around, similar to Arcsaber
JS = light headed, similar to Nanoray (well, except the Z-Speed!)
