The funny thing is, when you are truly really good enough to use an elite high end racket and get everything out of it, it no longer really matters what racket you use.

yup, it still amazes me how much people spend on racquets and how many they actually have in their arsenal. i suppose it can be more of a collection than a playing need, which is understandable.

    Hey G

Just saw this old post while browsing, bored Thursday afternoon :p.

Do you still have your Ti10s?

Think it's really about time they brought out a Ti10 fourth generation.

I just got 50 new sets of strings, so gonna be trying out 28-30lbs tension with different strings, should be fun.

    See ya Sat

    David

Yep, it is more of a collection thing although I do tend to play with all my rackets over a year. I'll probably start to sell off a few once I know the 2-3 rackets which I really like.

I really just don't like losing money by selling used... sounds stupid but once I buy something I don't like selling it.

I also have something like 35 RC vehicles (from cars, trucks, snowmobiles, helicopters and boats) and 6 computers in my house even though there's only 2 adults.

    6 computers for 2 eh, that's overkill.
20 racquets for 2 hands, well that's just dandy!
    :D

I have no defence for the rackets except to say I know there are guys out there with more :p

As for the computers, I have one hooked up to the 55" TV upstairs, one to the 60" TV downstairs, my gaming computer, the "family" computer and both my wife and I have laptops... plus I have a work laptop but I don't really count that one.

You have FOUR first gen Ti10s? wow, that's amazing.

I played with a friend's first gen on Tuesday, haven't used one in about 7 years, still the best I think. And still the best colour :)

Come on Yoneyama, where the fourth gen?

If I was going to Vancouver anytime soon, I'd get them :p

But I think I'll just order a couple from Mybadmintonstore.com, my favourite badminton store.

Ti 10 is the Yonex Titanium 10. Picture depends on generation.
SOTX is a brand, like Yonex, Victor, and Mizuno. Picture depends on racket you want.
Cab30MS is the Yonex Carbonex 30MS, you can easily find pics at online shops like badmintonalley.com, badminton.net, etc.
