I am weak! =) The tension is around 24-25 lbs done on a drop weight machine.

I know it is personal preference
I found that the BG66UM is powerful and very responsive.

So far, i think the NBG98 is more powerful as i have another racket (same make and model) that is was strung at 25lbs using the same machine. However, that racket was strung over a month ago and the tension is a lower than the fresh BG66UM. I will give it another review in a couple weeks.

On another note, I am not sure if it's the crack i am smoking but i find rackets that are done with a drop weight machine retains tension for a longer period of time, or i should say tension drops slower when compared to a crank. Any truth to this?

I don't string my own rackets, but I understand what you are saying.

Yeah, drop weight machines are constant pull whereas crank machines lock out once the required tension is reached

So far I've tried BG80, VS-850, ZY67 and BG85 but today used BG66UM for the first time. Definitely my fave of the bunch. Will be sticking with it for a while now. Got a sharper spring to it with added speed, and imo bags of repulsion.

Apprently I went to the badminton club and they didn't have BG 66 UM sadly but I just went with BG80 cuz why not xD. So after stringing at 24lbs. I can say its really amazing. I can do more powerful smashes more drop returns and the clears and other shots are so easy to perform. But definitly in the future when I get break my string or perhaps in summer when im getting a new racket then I'll it BG66 UM by then.

BG66UM has a thickness of 0.65mm, if i'm not mistaken. While BG66 Medium Feeling has 0.66mm thickness. & i heard BG66UM is quite rare subject to availability.

Yes it's a super thick (.73mm) durable string. Not sure how it plays, but probably not as well as thinner strings.

Currently I'm using BG66UM on ARCZ at 24lbs. But I would like to replace it for the reason the tension is already loose just so quickly. And to try others as well.

Is the BG80 is a good replacement? Do I have to retain at 24lbs or increase it like maybe 26lbs? I'm not really sure about it because BG80 is thicker compared to BG66UM.
