Here's one of Vancouver Racquets Club, showing 4 of the 6 courts.

This court looks like a school hall. My old school hall does look like that.

I've been to VRC once. The place is pretty nice. Open 24 hrs for members and when you pay the entry fee, it's good for 24 hrs.

When I was there, it was at the end of December beginning of January so the place was cold like hell.

The lights are very nice. They point horizontally!

That's why we have to use 79 grains birds during winter - talk about frozen goose :D.

I prefer the Swedish courts. The dark color contrast very well with a white bird :).

Yes.. I really hate places with lights in the ceiling, so you get blinded when taking the overhead shots!!

Green wooden court color + another color other than white for the lines should be great.

The VRC lights point downward too. :( As one gets near the edge of the court, one pass through the transition from even lighting to uneven lighting: blind spot.

VRC has heater, but when I was there, they forgot to turn it on. So everyone was shivering as they were playing.

I feel sorry for the goose, no wonder they migrate.:D

    Heaters at VRC

Yeah they have heaters, but some people seem to be cold all the time and some seem to be hot all the time.

I've turned on the heaters at the court where I'm playing at times, because I think it's too cold. But then the people playing on the next court tell me "Hey! It's too warm! Could you please turn the heater off?"

I'm like ! I'm in thick sweats, and I can still feel the cold seeping into me. They're in thin t-shirts and shorts, and are sweating like... well, [oink! oink!] :D

    Yeesh!

:p..don't worry Master NGP, Pandas are liked and loved *all over the world*..esp. if one can play baddy, too:):D;)
..yah, that's what i thought, too.. the colors from the Swedish courts are opposite.:p
