Yup, noticed that as well ... strange. If you're thinking of bidding on it I suggest you ask him some questions like the ones others have suggested time and time again before (like country code, serial no., bought where etc.)

If you look at the ser#, it is a 3 yr old racquet (may be 2.5 yr). We can not tell without the cone code to go with it. The picture is generic. Unless he post more pictures of that specific racquet with ser#, I would not take the chance.

even serial no provided, still hard to determine whether is genuine or fake from the picture, unless in your hand, but i have tried the fake ART800, if you got it cheap why not? it still a good racket for normal use.......good luck hunting a new racket.

    Fake or real?

Hi there i am currently interested in buying a nanospeed 9000x but i'm not sure if the racket is fake or real, i would greatly appreciate if someone could tell me if it was real or not.

it says: "I am aware that there are concerns about 'fakes' being sold on ebay but as far as i can say this is a genuine Yonex item. Code on shaft 5333474 Code on handle 201260JP."

However i'm not sure if this is true, any help would be fantastic.
Here is the link: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Genuine-Yonex-...photo hosting

    thanks:)

No need to check the photos. The serial number is way off for that date code.
    Verdict: FAKE

    Good call.
Dear Matt, since Pam Anderson is no longer "acting", who else should we use now?

Which part of my statement below was misleading? The serial number provided is way off for that date code.
