Great job by TTY today beating Saina in straight sets. Saina is not great physically at the moment. she was a little slower than usual.. But the better player won. TTY had Saina running all over the place with her amazing play. Should have been easier in 1st set but got nervous at 20-15 up...
At 20-15, it was anxious where she served out on the sidelines, then nervous and finally elation as Saina hit the last shot out, I think.
Haha, her next competition most likely is German and all england !! I going Make singapore open her home ground !!!
Looking forward for your banner next year! The whole stadium will soon know you are TTY young die hard fan
What 2015? That will be a long wait to claim my prize but I may consider. Show me the banner first, when approaching 2014 MO PSS.

That seems a hard way to make a living: All that effort for less than $25K. How much would she getting paid if it was broken down to a salary of dollars per hour of training? If she trained 8h/day, 6d/wk, 50wks/yr then she was raking in $10.11/h. Better than McDonalds, I guess. (and nicer uniforms, too!)
well,u might have neglected a factor(the currency exchange) TTY already have 1 million TWD after AE 2012 now she had another million TWD after MO 2013. average salary for a Taiwanese is about TWD 50k per month(TWD 600k per year) which mean she earned 2 million from 2011 january - 2013 january , faster than those worker. she only 19 this year, given her result will be better. she might end up earning more than 20 million in TWD before retirement, with proper management, that would be a great figure. dont forget, the prize money will become higher next year onward
limsy, I stand corrected.... and I sit flabbergasted! TTY would be in lower class in Canada with that salary, but in Taiwan you say she's a millionaire?! You would be wise to bring her more than a 'banner' next year, my friend. Like maybe try a diamond ring!
the currency is USD 1 : TWD 29 she earned USD 26,346 in 2011 she earned USD 24,257 in 2012 MO 2013 ws winner is USD 30,000. so it was USD 80,603 = TWD 2,337,487 the average earning for worker is TWD 50,000(USD 1724) per month = TWD 600,000(USD 20689) this mean she earn more than a normal worker in taiwan every year since 2011
I think TTY's earnings will leave many average Asian workers filled with envy, although badminton is a long way off from tennis in terms of prize money. She has earned US$30k just for winning her WS title in the recent MO, just at the start of 2013. I'm sure more than many workers in Taiwan earn in a year! She will have more opportunities to earn more this year if she continues to improve and remain injury free. And if she still remains in school, it means she is virutually working part-time. I suppose even if she has to pay income tax, it must be much lower than in Canada. I can only see her riding high this year and improving her earnings record as well as her world ranking, barring any unfortunate events.
