Chen Jin is unlikely to forget this failure. Expectations that Chong Wei would fall before him have been trashed
Off topic-Do you really think LD was out of gas in the 3rd game??.. - Do you really believe LinDan could've lost by a margin of 17 pts?? - When was the last time LinDan lost by that big of a margin?? - Have you read the latest posts in the "side news of Djarum Open 09 thread"?..If so, please do so because there are actual eyewitness(es) who saw the entire QF match between LD vs. CJ. - Why are we rather suspicious abt Chen Jin's win? Because, it was a match between teammates/countrymen..
Chen Jin's play is just frustrating... No dynamics. Smash with minimal power, altough with good defence, his netplay isn't too good and speed isn't so also. Too mechanical....
IF the plan was to erode LCWs confidence by having Chen Jin beat him.. the plan backfired miserably /T
And.. ..could you please explain how did LD lose by that margin??..don't tell me CJ actually "beat" him..
18-21 21-17 21-4 was the score.. Of course Cj "beat" him... That is why CJ played in the Semis and not LD... I dont get it.. What would be a "reasonable" score for you?? 25-27 instead of 4-21 ?? What would you have said if LD had won 21-4 in the last game?? /Twobeer
^^Very good..^^ ..glad you really believe the outcome.. - A closer scoreline would be reasonable. - What would i think if LD had won by the score of 21-4? I would think that he was playing against Taufik ala the 2006 Japan Open MS Final. I mean, who else would've gotten only 4 points against Super Dan if not Taufik, himself..
looked like Chen Jin played in frustrated yesterday... he was just defeated by Lee Chong Wei dramatically... just waiting for his reborn in the next challenge..
CHN might be using this opportunity to test CJ's ability to play against a good form LCW in preparation for the WC. Just my $.02.
