BC Gathering in Singapore in June 2013 ??? While I was in Malaysia last Sunday, some of our BC members were asking casually about the possibility of having a gathering in Singapore (and coincide with the Singapore Open SS in June 2013). I am considering the possibility of hosting (organizing) this BC gathering. I am not promising that this gathering will happen, but:- Can I know how many BC members (not staying in Singapore) but would likely attend this gathering? Please indicate your name here:- 1) 2) 3) And, how many (staying in Singapore) would likely to attend:- 1) 2) 3) This is the tentative proposal & Cost Estimate:- 1) Attend Singapore Open (QF, SF & Final @ Singapore Indoor Stadium) - Fri, Sat & Sun (ticket approx S$45 each. Usually it is cheaper to buy "Season" ticket). 2) Sat morning (8am-11am) Badminton Game - Estimate 36 players. Likely venue: Singapore Badminton Hall. 5 badm courts + shuttlecocks. (Approx: S$13 each). 3) Sat evening (730pm, after badm SF) - Dinner halal buffet (@Leisure Drome, beside Indoor Stadium) (Approx: S$15 each). As for hotels, if you do not mind "backpackers hostel", I can look for one that is near "train station", cost estimate S$23 per bed per night (usually 6 to a room or even 10 to a room sharing). Do you have a limit on how many people you could cater? Hopefully to get the correct date of the SG Open so I could block my calendar because Modesliga might be active during that time.
