There are also plenty of players injured(currently) and their thread is less active. Dunno which one has broken btw. Anyway, let's get back to topic. Tell us the latest about your idol, Hafiz
aiyo...the thread from East coast one...morning til now no post at all... Koo_fan broke it ... my idol will win FO...mark my word...
he will win more records...DO he broke new record... 16-4 leading but still can let his opponent win... i am sure he can break more records when playing Ng Wei....
The way he fizzled out in the rubber game showed his body wears out very easily. 'Rubbery legs' has to do with lack of proper nutrition. He was a spent force - obviously, he did not pace himself properly. Sportsmen (e.g. basketballers) who spend a lot of energy need to properly fuel this energy. He needs a slow burning energy fuel - pasta, banana, energy sticks that cyclists use, etc. I say sack the nutritionist who is with BAM ! Don't blame Hafiz - blame the experts who did not teach him well.
I think it easier to sack hafiz than all the supporting cast like nutrionist & etc. Those supporting cast are mostly made up of relatives of BAM high post people. They are there just to get free tickets and airfare!
If he can't last that means he has poor fitness...and without fitness he'll never win no matter how many trick-shots he has. Take an example from the chinese; they're always playing top level, fast badminton, whether it's the first minute, the 25 minute mark, or the 1 hour mark.
... but ... but the IBF is not fair. There should be some form of subsidy given to HH and all Malaysian shuttlers. A handicap system ought to be introduced, say Malaysians shuttlers be given 5 points handicap for each game.
Wrong argument my friend. I am talking about nutrition and the lack of good administration on this. Not HH, which I agree has got no stamina. But not monitoring sportsmen's nutrition and spending millions of dollars sending them to tournaments to find out that they are 'wanting' in the stamina department is something that begs the question " are they really sure they have got the right nutritionist for the job?"
Actually come to think of it ... I was thinking about my family cat, Dok, who left us some 4 years back due to old age. In his final days, he couldnt move nor eat. We took him to a vet and made a family decision to put Dok to sleep peacefully as we cant bear to see the sight of him suffering in pain. It was just one little injection and Dok went to sleep peacefully. In HH's case, or for that matter KBH as well, I think it is time BAM do a Dok on them. Yes, end the pain. Now .... now before any bolehians start screaming in anger or foam at the mouth, I am not saying BAM should stick a needle into HH & KBH's buttocks and literally put them to sleep. I am saying retire or re-assign (better word la) or promote (an even better word la) or empower (a super special word .... after all, we love to syiok sendiri) them to spar/train/spend time/guide/counsel etc & everything other than manage the junior shuttlers. I seriously think our juniors or elite or whatever syiok sendiri names we call them these days will benefit from HH & KBH playing experience. If the horse is no longer useful at the track, send it to the farm to ploy the fields.
I have to blink my eyes to make sure I read them right...you both agree for the first time... In HH's case, or for that matter KBH as well, I think it is time BAM do a Dok on them. Yes, end the pain. Hahaha!!! That is a good one.
