Well, I finally have a chance to pick up the 2 JJS from my retailer for measurement and there it goes again, Victor legendary QC issue:

    #1 - dry weight 86.6g, head weight 37.6g
    #2 - dry weight 89.4g, head weight 39.3g

Yikes, you better not pick #2. That has a higher head wt than the 4U VTZF that I had.

Oh btw, make sure you account for the double shrink wrap on the handle that weighs 2.5g and adds 0.3g to the head weight.

I have deducted 1.9g for the wrap but never account for the head weight change, so it should be:

    #1 - dry weight 86.0g, head weight 37.3g
    #2 - dry weight 88.8g, head weight 39.0g

Well, they both feel light compare to my 2U Ti10s, I actually find #1 to be a bit light for what I want as most of my old Ti10s are at the 92g range.

They'll feel light to swing at the store especially if they don't have strings... ;)
If you wanna compare dry swinging, make sure your go to Ti10 is also string-free.

The JJS feels heftier somehow when you start smashing birds with it. But strangely it feels slightly lighter when defending. Weird. Don't know whether it's due to weight distribution or shaft stiffness...

Thanks for the heads up buddy.

My old 3U Ti10s are all in the dry head weight range of 37g +/-0.4g so it is very similar to the light JJS. But there is also the reason I switch off to 2U Ti10s as I find them swinging light just like the JJS. My 2U Ti10s dry head weight range from low 38g to mid 39g so it is on with the heavier JJS.

    Tough choices ;)

You are totally wrong. A Forza VS Version is much stiffer than SW35 and MX80 and BS10(5/5) are a bit stiffer than SW35. The N90 plays not in this league. Every of you posts make me laugh. Yes, you are right the racket plays alone and the player is just like a jockey.

Add to #1 2g of Athletic Tape at the top of the head and a bit insulating tape around the wood and #1 would be close to #2.:)

Do you remove both wraps? I measured the first wrap to be 1.1g. So i'm assuming the final wrap with the sticker label is accounting for 1.4g?

I measured the following for mine dry weight (with 1 shrink wrap on):
    #1 - 90.0g, BP 297mm
    #2 - 90.2g, BP 295mm
    #3 - 87.7g, BP 295mm
    #4 - 87.1g, BP 294mm
    #5 - 86.6g, BP 292mm

Haven't gotten a chance to measure swing weight though. I'm currently debating whether i should remove the shrink wrap on #1 and #2 so that they fall within the 3U spec. They are playing a little like a 2U

String / Total wt / Head wt
    ZM62 3.0g 2.6g
    ZM65 3.2g 2.8g
    ZM67/VS850 3.4g 3.0g

Grip contribution to head wt is approx 12% of total wt.

    So 6.1g white G09 is 0.7g.

    Yep.
3u or 2u spec by itself has no meaning by itself. 4u vtzf can swing heavier than a 2u Ti10.

So i broke the strings in my JJS so i've done some weighing for you Visor. Earlier with vs850 string and 15 grams of towel grip the head weight was 45.5. With no strings and 15 grams of towel grip the head weight was 42 grams, and completely dry with no string and no grip the head weight was 40.5 grams (give or take .01-.5 grams because my scale doesn't show decimals. Granted there is nothing wrong with my scale.. I guess I got a beefy JJS?

40.5g dry... wow, that's beefy indeed. :) Almost as much as a 3U VTZF I once weighed.

It's frustrating because I'm a power player and I love racquets that can help me thunder down smashes (or at least try) And I love the power of the JJS. But defensively I'm not very good/consistant and my JJS is just too slow a lot of the time. Not to mention when I get tired It's hard to get amped up to hit smashes when it feels like you're holding a brick :(. Now I'm waiting for eric to get more mx90s ^^
