    Unexpected start of the match.

11-3 to Shon at midgame interval. LCW is somewhat sluggish, but Shon is playing fairly well too.

I am impressed with Shon's speed and reaction time. Very sharp today. 14-3

If Shon can beat LCW, and Lindan got beaten by Lee hyun Il, this tournament will be very interesting :D

16-10 to Shon. LCW is starting to warm up but Shon is making some careless errors too

We just ran into another situation where players at the net stick their racket out to try to block a net kill from their opponents. LCW was called a fault for placing his racket in the of Shon's (they nearly clashed). I think LCW actually made a shot there, as the shuttle went back onto Shon's side but was called a fault for it. Difficult to say though. LCW did try to make the shot, but he nearly clashed with Shon in the process when Shon went for the net kill.

I would have called a fault. Shon's racket progress would have been impeded by the presence of LCW's racket so close to the net. He basically had a tentative prod at the shuttle instead of a legit full swing

i have seen a better LCW before.

looks like someone dragged him out of bed and forced him to play badminton..

    oh wait..

I love the way Shon is playing at the moment. Very quick, calm, compact and making good decisions.

GC claims to be "shellshocked", haha :D

i think it was a good call also. there was hardly any swing in LCW's racket and the proximity would have prevented Shon from making a legal stroke.
