Hows WYH injury? She missed the french Open and the next tourney is in China... Is she playing? Hope to see her here...
its really important for WYH to be in good shape because she is the only Chinese WS player who seems to be in good form post Olympics.
She's the top-seed for both CHN Open SSP & HKG Open SS Yeah, CHN missed WS title in two consecutives SS, DEN & FRA, her compatriots showed below par performance lately including the Olympic Champ, Li XR.
Lookin at the way WYH move and play against yuswandari, she's not in form yet.. her attacking play n movement doesnt seem smooth
You're right,as I've said in the tournament thread that a report said she isn't 100% fit from her slight injury in the DEN Open. I worry for her match tomorrow at the CHN Open with Juliane Schenk who plays a very physical game.
Why last tournament? She certainly won't be retiring anytime soon. I expect her to be one of the dominant WS players, with LXR, for quite a while. Wang YH has put the past behind her and is opening a new chapter in her career. My best wishes to her.
Wang Yihan, I salute you. Your staying power, indefatigable ,unyielding spirit, despite your nagging knee discomfort, to overcome Juliane Schenk's amazing physicality in the HK semi-final today is admirable. In that match, both of you produced great, fighting badminton of the highest quality, worth watching again. I 'd thought you'd capitulate in the 3rd game but you proved me wrong. I am completely won over by your fighting spirit and intelligent play in winning that match. A versatile,all-rounder you are indeed. Simply astounding to watch. Keep up the excellent work.
Are you sure it's her? The one posted by Pakito has her features, yours I can't tell. She is very pretty, all right.
