For a person who is not strong, not weak either. Doesn't hit fast nor slow. Neither a beginner, nor an expert. Sometimes has the correct footwork and technique, but not all the time. Style of play is very balanced between attacking, deception and defense. What would be the spec of a racket for such a person? Flex: Balance: Weight: String: String tension:
Flex:Flexible Balance: Even-balance Weight: 3u or 4u doesn't matter String: bg-65 (Keep it cheap) String tension: 23-24lbs Recommended racket: Bravesword 9/12, any nanospeed except 9000x and 9900, Wilson zonar. Many more, but a budget would help us help you.
Flex: medium Balance: even balance weight: 3U or 4U is fine string: it's up to you, but Zymax 67 feels pretty nice and not too expensive string tension: 22 - 24lbs recommended racket: arcsaber series especially arcsaber 7, bravesword series (with medium flex shaft)
Flex: Flexible Balance: 290 - even but towards head heavy Weight: 86 +- 2 string: depends Stringing tension: 27lbs Recommendation: Warriors 8, all around with a punch. Easy to use and feel solid.
Flex: Medium Stiff Balance:Head Heavy Weight:4U, 80-84gm String: NBG98 String tension: 23 Lbs Medium Stiff, Head Heavy for efficient attacks and clears, being light (4U) you won't feel the head heaviness in defense and so will be maneuverable and make it an allrounder. NBG98 for great repulsion compensating an hold type of racquet; best of both worlds.
Flex: 4/5 (Stiff) or 3/5 (Medium) Balance: even balance weight: 3U or 4U for head heavy string: Bg66 Ultimax, Nanogy 98 string tension: 24 - 26lbs Recommended racket: Arcsaber 7, Voltric 60, Meteor X70, Bravesword 12
The racket should match the player and his style, so here's my recommendation: Flex: Flex to Medium Balance: Even-Balanced Weight: 85g String: BG66 String tension: 24lbs If you can get your hands on a Carlton Air Rage Tour or a Vapour Trail Tour, that'll be nice to stick with. Otherwise the mid-range APACS are good too.
Of the rackets I've tried and/or owned, my votes would be to at least also try out - Victor bravesword 9/11/12 - Yonex NS7700/Arc7 - LiNing TP100C. All these rackets are well worth trying out and represent what I think are really decent middle all-rounders.I wouldn't recommend the Carlton Vapour Trail Tour because it's stiffer than it looks and also has a smaller sweetspot thanks to the 'optimetric' head.
lol is this a riddle. Is the answer a christmas tree or something? Seriously though I would say the perfect racket for that person is no racket and every racket.
Flex: medium to medium stiff Balance: even, around 285-290mm bp dry Weight: between 85-86g dry String: vs850 String tension: 22-24lbs ecp As others have mentioned, Arc7, Nanoray 700FX, Victor BS12, MX70 . Just make sure you bring a digital scale along to the store to get the right weight.
more importantly singles or doubles? ;P Flex: medium to stiff Balance: balanced or slight head heavy Weight: 3u String: li-ning AP62 (more control) or ZM 62 (longer tension retention) String tension: 24-26lbs Racket: SW35, MX80 Nanoray 700RF, NS9900, BS10
