He has participated 3 events ( MAS SS, KOR SS and India)...he is not part of National team so it is up to his club to send him but it is more likely he will play Sin SS, INA SS and MAS GP...then could be Thai GP as well....
His best result of those three tournaments is being quarterfinalist in both KOR SS and India GP Gold. Unfortunately, he had wasted good chance at India. His WR now (per 09 April 2009) is #17, not too far to enter top-10.
he can be improve if he's being sent to more tournaments by his club.imo unfortunately not the national team as he's not in the national team.
Andre is now still ranked 17 in the world and INA's 4th best ranked MS... There is still a possibility that he will be recruited by the National Team sometime this year... INA needs a strong #3 MS or a strong #4 MS for next year's Thomas Cup.
^^Is it simply because of budget??..^^ ..that PBSI is not including him (Andre) in the national team/Pelatnas??..
Andre K.Tedjono WR per 04th March 2010 is #34 (up 7 rung from last week rank due his AUT Challenge title). Unfortunately, he failed to produce impressive outcome in German GP this week, stopped by Wong Choong Han at R/32.

It's time to bump this thread up. Since the last post more than 15 months ago, Andre Kurniawan Tedjono has won the Swiss International 2011 and Dutch International 2012. He will also return back to the top 50 by next week, courtesy of his title in the Dutch Int. True, he may not be the best MS player that we have right now but together with Alamsyah Yunus, these two players are still capable of winning IC/GP-level titles. I still consider them as relatively young players (both are still 25 and will only turn 26 in the second half of this year) and they will still contribute to INA badminton regardless of their status as non-Pelatnas players for the next few years!
He might never be a top 10 player, but having Andre as a top 20 player around is not bad for INA... Andre should continue to roam the myriad world of International Challenge-s, GP-s, and some GP Gold-s...
Andre Kurniawan Tedjono continues his good run in European IC tourneys as he wins his second IC title this year at the Yonex Belgian International 2012, beating Dicky Palyama 17-21, 21-18, 21-13. He will still compete in Europe for the next few months as I believe he is participating in the German Bundesliga, Dutch Open GP 2012 and perhaps Swiss International 2012+Bitburger Open GPG 2012 to defend his ranking.
