I pity yuswandari, despite playing brilliantly, she lost it. I wish Eriko Hirose for her second round match.
Wang YH isn't in fine form;she's not moving very well and not attacking the way we're used to seeing her do. I'm doubtful she can take this title.
wow!even guru is loosing....looks like LD rules is going to have a great day in PAW with a perfect 14 out of 14....@LD rules looks like you are already way ahead of me now...you also a have big pointer in wang lin
Playing at home is never a reason?????.. Wow.. What a psychology.. Great... Definitely here, its helping a lot to home players. I have never seen so many players before or heard. They are showing great show.. Lets see, how these unknown local players do in the second round. Real test goint to happen there.
Personally, I think home ground advantage is more psychological than real and it cuts both ways, some thrive on it,some are pressured by it. The Koreans thrive on it, the more so when they are the underdogs, another form of psychological advantage.
Definitely, when people around you encourages you , you tend to do better and better and better. Underdogs dont have pressure kind of thing. They will try to be a hero in front of home crowd . It happened today for a lot of home players who are very well unknown to outside world. Real test gonna happen if they meet seeded players. Lets see how they perform.
Chen Jin is playing with a bit more intensity than I've seen him done for a long while but still nowhere near his best which he exhibited during the Pre-Olympic Simulation match with Lin Dan when he seemed to be transitioning to a more attacking than rallying player, if I'm not wrong. He says he's getting married after the China National Games early next year, hopefully that would give him the fillip to start playing better from here.
so ueda beats guru sai in 3....wow its been a long time since I saw a Indian men's singles player winning in 3 sets...
Jiang Yanjiao won over Hera Desi, 21-13 / 21-15. Also Takuma Ueda through to R/16, next Ratchanok v Nozomi...
