I've gone a bit Ghetto. I bought the Victor die-cut 'decals', but there really isn't enough in the pack - only 6 - and you need 3 for each side of the racket. That didn't get me to 300, so I used some of the offcuts to add some more. Ended up doing pairs at 12, 3, 6, 1:30 and 10:30. o'clock.

If you want to have some fun experimenting, buy 2-3 packets - it's cheap enough.

Yay guys. I am gonna get my MX80 very soon. Just sold off my VT80 to fund that MX80. Today I was using my old medium flex head heavy carlton which is light bout 85g. Wow, I was not used to it because the VT80 is heavy and pretty head heavy. I am still able to generate good clears and smashes, my smashes not so powerful not sure why Lol maybe technique not right, however now i'm confused whether to get 3U or 4U for MX80. Advise guys, because i heard the difference for 3U and 4U MX80 is not much too. Any opinions? Gonna get from Eric soon I guess but he still haven post to me the photo for the Victor Bag which I have to pay $3 extra if i'm interested =.= The rackets doesnt come wit bag LOL.

Hey, I asked Eric for an 85g example and that's what I got, so if you want something specifically, just ask him. He can only say 'no'. :)

Be warned though, the MX80 is neither head heavy nor medium-flex. Just on face value as I only got mine yesterday, it seems stiffer than my Forza Ti550-S. No modern Yonex is this stiff, not even your VT80. It has the same BP as my BS10 @ 293mm so it's not especially head-heavy either.

    He is still...

Meanwhile he wants to see whether he's strong enough to handle a super stiff racket... :p :)

Still waiting awaiting the arrival of the 'god racket' Troy, so I thought in the interim I'd have some fun and buy some more Victors :D

Actually, I'm just as excited about trying my 300mm BP BS11 as I am the MX80. Hopefully my shoulder won't explode.

I'm curious to know whether the lead tapes you added to your BS11 would have any signification effect to the racket's aerodynamic properties. Do share your experience with us ok?

FYI guys I've received some update regarding MX70 specs from a trusted source ...
MX70 shaft is a bit flexier than MX80
MX70 BP around 290~295 mm (about the same with MX80) but if you use it to play it feels a bit head-heavier than MX80

    MX70
    Stiff o0ooo Flex
    HH o0ooo HL

So many conflicting details. Now I'm just plain confused lol. Based on your info though, it's basically a less stiff MX80. I think my ideal would be either...

    Stiff o0ooo Flex
    HH 0oooo HL

    Or

    Stiff 0oooo Flex
    HH 0oooo HL

Stiff 4/5 is as expected, as from mx70 thread.
But iirc, someone with a good source said that it'll be more even balance 3/5.

VT80 imo is already a better version of those rackets, head heavier too. MX80 version of an ultra head heavy racket would be preferable as I find the materials, 80 grommet system and frame aerodynamics more desirable. Less air resistance than a traditional racket frame.

MX70 will be less stiff than MX80 but a little head heavier ...

no it will not be more head light than MX80
trust me ... my source is an inside man and he already have it and played with it (MX70)

yes ...! it will be awesome mate ...
but the downside is that MX70 feels more hollow than MX80 which is more solid ...

As long is it's not as hollow as a Head Metallix, I'm not really that fussed.

Man, how am I going to survive the next 24hrs before I get to play with my new MX80 and FrankenBravesword!

This specs seems similar to BS11? Anyway will suit me perfectly, coz MX80 is still considered stiff for me as i've injured my wrist b4 and it does gets abit painful whenever i gotta use my wrist as compared to a less stiff racquet :)
