Shuttle house on their website said this string will only be released tomorrow. Same price as BG66S. I just wonder how much it is going to be when it reaches here in MAS. Would really want to try this out.
would definitely give it a try man..hope it's as durable as it stated on the label.if only my pays are good..wouldn't mind switching to this string for all my rackets..

Short Review... BG66M has more repulsion sound than Nanogy98. Suprisingly it is more durable than BG66. Better control and bounce well at least for my tension at 30lbs. Bad part is the price i guess. When comes to feel Nanogy98 is more solid but Bg66M has more crisp feel.
I already Try This String And This String is More similliar with bg 66 or bg 66 sharp than nanogy 98, I prefer this string compare than nanogy98. my opinion is this string is 0.66 version of bg66 sharp
Just got 10 of BG66 Maxima yesterday from Japan, and string one of them to my NS9900 at 28lbs. The string broke only in 3hours of play because of misshit on top But I'll have to say that this string is SERIOUSLY POWERFULL, I can really play with less effort. I able to hit futher back with backhand compare to my ArcSaber Z with BG80 at 28lbs too. Going to restring NS9900 at 26lbs tomorrow and try again on saturdaym hopefully I'll not misshit again
really hope someone can compare this string with the Ashaway's Zymax 62! If you check the comments about these two strings, they are both new product and great! However,Ashaway is at a much lower price, and you can get it almost everywhere.
i have 3 cab30s, one with string of choice bg80 at 24 lbs. 1 week ago i strung my another cab30 with bg66m at 24 lbs and it was felt like tighter than bg80 at the same tension. may be caused by thinner gauge of bg66m or maybe i have to wait till the tension dropped by a litte and more time to get used to.
It also depends oh how long ago it was strung with BG80. It may be simply that it has gotten looser over the past few months.
could be. personally i like strings with rough texture like yy bg80 or gosen r4x110. rough texture gives me nice feedback espescially at netplay. smooth or slippery texture as this bg66m or nbg98 or titanium coated ones kind of hard to control at netplay.
hi assen, where did you get the string from? shuttle house? how has the durability been since you restrung it? how does it's control compared to the bg80?
Hi ants Which string has better repulsion power? Nanogy 98 or BG66M? How about other aspects? Control, durability, shock absorb...
I can answer that: BG66M is most likely the new incarnation of the BG66 (which I think is not advertised by Yonex in Japan anymore). It gives the same thin string feel which is characterised by a sharp impact feel and loud high pitched sound. Durability wise it is pretty amazing for a 0.65mm string and lasts slightly longer than the BG66 at normal play. Control wise I believe they're the same. NBG98 on the other hand has the repulsion and sound of the thin BG66 but the impact feel somehow feels "larger", like the thicker BG65 and BG65 Power. Control wise I tend to prefer the NBG98 since I prefer thicker strings.
Man, it is hard to choose...from the picture on first page, BG66M has better hit sound and control than NBG98...for the other aspects, they are the same...I need to know more opinion from those had used both of these strings...
