No it's not a badminton player, but they want to keep it as a secret by now.

but that doesn't say anything that she speaks danish! not every player living in dk speaks that language. danish is quite hard to speak (pronounce). actually to read/write danish isn't that difficult

when you live in a country for a long time, you'll learn the language or want to learn the language.

can't imagine that chinese learn danish so quick. and pi hongyan wasn not staying so long in dk. there r many players at the IBA who already live there for 4 or 5 years. they can't even speak danish.

i mean i don't even know one chinese player who can speak a fluent english.

how fast you learn a language is different from person to person, you can't just generalize and say chinese can't speak danish.

about english, i know some chinese coaches went to UK for a year or two, and they speak english well.

Yao Jie does not speak English.. And Pi Hongyan surely does not speak fluent Danish. Yao Jie speaks Dutch though and Pi Hongyan French and English.

The reason I am bumping this thread is actually to ask: when did Pi Hongyan retire?? I must have missed it. After the London olympics?
