First sentence is the 6U. Second sentence is the 5U.

This racket must be made of glass, its so fragile.

At that kind of weight it won't be very durable. I had a (very) light AT600 that cracked too.

    It is just 23lbs...
    I would say mild one...
The first pic shows it is dented but not bent...
    After that, it slowly deform...

This is my current go to racket,
but this crack put me into dilemma whether to get the same racket as replacement or not...

I wonder if Yonex are just experiencing quality control issues or whether the FB is a naturally fragile racket due to its weight? I remember a similar situation when Yonex first released the Nanospeed 8000; although YY did seem to 'fix' it when they released the gold version.

Don't think want to go 5U version until proven it has stronger frame...
Now I am not sure what racket to get as replacement...
No other racket having similar spec with arc-FB except the Victor Light Figther but barely got any info.

I didn't get a chance to play with it, but my friend gave it a few swings since it was stringed up today at 26x28.

It feels heavier and has a better follow through from what he tried. Still light but better than the 6U which felt like swinging a twig.

does anyone have a cross section view of the broken frame? would be nice to see the thickness of the carbon etc

and perhaps they omitted their usual titanium threads within leading to less resilience

Where did you bought the 5U version? Later this week I'm suppose to test out the 6U.

It seems like a very polarizing racket. Some people like it and some don't. I'm not concerned about the fragility of the racket.

They're not a badminton specialty store. Looking for something more like SH, but with better prices.
