Agree, there's definitely a difference but I believe Matt's talking about people who don't string or have experience with stringing.
I'm talking to people who have experience actually. The differnece isn't that significant as hype claims to be.
So would I notice this "huge" difference if I get someone to string it with a Yonex top of the line machine ^.^. Show me the numbers. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Take it easy guys, I'm just pulling legs lol
IMHO, Yonex ESPro is GREAT in every aspect. However, I just can not fine enough chang in my pocket or convince any one to get one even a used/demo one from Yonex. I just don't feel ESPro is worth the money when you can get a machine like our None Greater Panda has and does 98% of the good job and cost 1/7 of the price.
How about putting the new machine to this simple stringing job: Prior to stringing and mounting the empty racquet on the machine measure the length of the racquet from top to butt end. String at 28 to 32 lbs range. At end of job, take the racquet off the machine and measure the racquet length. The 2 lengths should be exactly the same, which should not be beyond this machine. If there is a difference then something is wrong.
Why? As long as the machine is calibrated correctly. Then it become stringer's issue. He/she might have a different requirements or style than you. As far as Sir DinkALot's experience and style, he know what he is doing and does his job well. I do not see your point. I personally have prob with user friendlyness of the mounting systems and need of swap out fix clamp when I look into a new stringer. Sorry to disagree with you....
review after 10-20 frames? so, somewhere tomorrow I guess? Love the set-up, what grip did you put on your ChaoPai?
Yea its not cheap cheap but its a great alternative to dropping 1200 usd straight for a top of the line constant pull machine. Additionally Dink said it in another post in the past about a crank being 90+% accurate if you string well. Constant pulls are more like 99% accurate. Its just what you can live with and how accurate and fluid you are stringing with a crank. And about feeling a difference... "My stringing tension is between 17-18 kp on normal stringing-machines and 14-15 kp on Babolat professional stringing-machine." Peter Gade Clearly, there is a difference in the methodos
hey Mr. Panda, do u find the 2086 noisy? From their video, it seem a bit noisy on each pull. Is da sound it makes 'bear'able?
The one Great GrandMaster Panda has is second generation TENNIS HEAD. It's quieter already. The video is the first generation I believe.
Nice looking machine. I'm sure its good for it's price and hope that the machine will not make so much noise after 6 months of using.
Lots of fellow amateur/pro stringers from the Tennis Forum really like the Tennis Head. It seems the initial kinks are ironed out. I just hope the mechanical and electronic are 100% after a year.
well, i hope our in house panda will keep us updated on the 2086. If it survive the panda usage, i'll say it is panda approved toy.
Yes it fit, it was a seamless transition. The 2086 slid right in no modifications necessary. It took about 4 minutes to install.
