GS U-17 Impressive run for Fitriani, beat all her opponents in straight sets. In semifinal, she will up against the top seed Aida Arum Amanah. Aida is 15, will turn 16 next month while Fitriani still 14. Aida(born in 1996) is about at the same age with Ruselly(born in 1997), but, Ruselly has started to show good result at U-19 stage.
INA Badminton Golden Age Chapter 1: 1972-1984 [mainly in MS and MD] Chapter 2: 1992-2004 [we were good in MS, MD, WS, somewhat good in WD, but not dominant in XD] Chapter 3: 2012-2024 ?!? [we could be dominant in MD and XD, and probably MS too] Several of our current youngsters [18-21 year olds] in MS, MD, and XD in the National Team got enought talent to start another golden age... The real BIG winners of the future are playing in our Sirnas today. We got tons of talent for BS, BD, and XD in the Sirnas... However, GS and GD are still weaker than other nations...
The 2-times Sirnas winner this year R. Eka Fajar Kusuma/Rian Swastedian lost in 3 tight-sets to Hantoro/Arsya Isnanu Ardi Putra 21-16, 19-21, 20-22. The other Djarum pair Kevin Ersa/Abu Bakar also progress to SF.

I am still waiting the results of Aida Arum Amanah [PB. Djarum] vs. Nisak Puji Lestari [PB. Mutiara]..... Earlier, we already saw: Gregoria [PB. Mutiara] defeating Gabriela a.k.a. Bela [PB. Djarum]. Interestingly, Bela is from Papua. Very rare do we see players from Papua. Pak Djoko Santoso [Head of PBSI] once met Bela in Kudus, he asked Bela: "Where do you come from?" Bela said: "Papua, Sir..." Djoko: "But you're so fair skinned?!?!? " Bela:"My mom is from Manado, Sir!" Aida wins! 17-21, 21-12, 21-18.... So, PB. Djarum won titles for GS U-17 Sirnas... 3 times in a row now!
