I'd love to see her win. She's capable of doing that. But guess there will be much more pressure on her to prove herself she's as good as the top seeded players. So let's see .
where to see about BAC? can't find it in TS. btw, the real test vs saina? 4 wangs + 1 li are nothing too her?
http://www.badmintonasia.org/event_details.aspx?eventID=276 i always assume all matches between one Chinese and another are fixed.
Just watched Han Li for the first time... Wow! I'm really impressed! Her game is so aggressive and attacking, it's enjoyable to watch! I don't like watching Womens singles usual cause it's not that exciting, but her play changes this. I'll definitely watch matches involving her in the future. As a request for my 6000 post, can we change the title to "Han Li" it's annoying my OCD and needs for things to be perfect thanks
i have re-watched LXR's recent match against WYH at the All England. I think LXR's smash and footwork are better than HAN Li. But HAN Li is mentally stronger. HAN Li's deceptiveness are also better.
and such talented player just buried for years in the training camp, didn't go out to compete. if not, she maybe already in top 10 now. just curious with the way china's coaches thinking.
more research about HAN Li... http://sports.qq.com/a/20080512/000533.htm http://sports.sina.com.cn/o/2012-04-09/12256015800.shtml apparently, Han Li is trained by Xie Zhongbo...
HAN Li won again today. she is on a roll. but against WSX tomorrow, it's all fixed. i guess WSX needs to win more than Han Li. but i hope they will play for real, at least for Game 1.
I am surprised to read in this thread that Li Han is already 24. I would have thought most of the China's players will be "unleashed" at an earlier age and would have established themselves by 24. Else, with China's "badminton production machine", the youngsters (like Li Xuerui) will be given more exposure opportunities. Will Li Han follows some of the 'older' China players and play for other countries? We will then surely get to her more often in international tournaments .
i found a qualification match of Han Li of 2011 China Open. It's a match against a Thai player, Nichaon Jindapon. http://v.youku.com/v_show/id_XMzI1MTg1MjU2.html
saw the way han li was playing in the recent australian open.. she's good.. hope to see her more in competition..
li xue rui and hanli will do well in some years...they have a good start this year...and will do better in year...
Most probably politics at play. LCW wasn't considered young anymore when drafted into BAM. It was Morten Frost who stick his neck out for LCW. But then again with so many talented WS players in china, something else has to give besides talent, i think.
a recent match between WangXin vs Han Li. http://sports.cntv.cn/20120511/112374.shtml http://115.com/file/beedpyt4
Han Li's first campaign SEA region commences in Thailand next week. She will face the cocky and soreloser Nehwal in the second round. Wish Han Li all the best.
