    just a thought, can't the fakers just copy a real code???

    I had it restrung at a yonex approved stringer and they said it was real. but i got it in HK so theres always a bit of doubt. :)

    Based on this shaft-cone number combination it should be fine indeed [​IMG]. I don't think Hong Kong is that bad when it comes to rackets in terms of fakes. At least based on what has past here ...

    And yes fakers could copy numbers which would mean a certain (supposedly unique) number combination exists twice (or more) in which case physical appearance usually should easily determine the real from the fake ones. And where it was bought then comes into play as well ...

    And a few more. You should take other picture instead of a picture of the numbers, like the word Yonex on the cone, the green buttcap, the YY logo on the t-joint and some pics of the striping on the frame. Also the #4 and #5 in the shaft serial look slightly different ...
