Up - Hard Down - Softer Left - Hitting Right - Sharp (thin?) Red - all-round Blue - repulsion Yellow - durability
Somehow I don't really get this. What does "hitting" and "sharp" mean reality? I get hard hitter and control player but that doesn't fit the matrix since CBG 100 is a control players string.
anyone have the old string chart as i wanna see where is bg66 sharp located? looking to find the replacement of this legendary string!
seem to be the closer replacement for BG66S is BG66M or BG68Ti i wonder why such a legendary string was discontinue or too costly to manufacture...
How can BG66M or BG68Ti be closer when BG66UM is in the middle of those two? You can always also try 68Ti since it has some overlap in the original chart, not bad either ...
based on chart above bg66M is better than bg66UM... correct? bg66S got that feeling which i cant explain...u need to try to know it i cant get BG66M here hope this feeling i can replace since bg66S is very very limited here
Not really, why? I don't see any ratings ... I don't think BG66M is like BG66S, nor is BG66UM simply because BG66S is 0.68mm and the other two 0.65mm. Well not at the same tension anyway Here are the Yonex ratings (if you want to take them seriously). You should just try BG68ti and BG66UM (perhaps 66UM at lower tension 1-2 pounds) Perhaps this is usefull as well: http://www.badmintoncentral.com/forums/showthread.php/83900-Yonex-BG66-vs-BG66M-vs-BG66S Of course that was written before 66UM was out. I don't think the price difference is worth picking 66M over 66UM ... What is so legendary about 66S anyway ? Only because LCW uses it?
Did anyone notice certain changes to specifications of Yonex's strings (Year 2011) ?? I just learned from shuttle-house that Yonex changed the ratings of certain strings. Details of such changes are as follows: BG 65 Repulsion 6 – increase 1 point become 7 Durability 8 – increase 2 points become 10 Control 6 Shock Absorption 6 Hitting Sound 6 BG 65 Power Repulsion 7 Durability 8 – increase 2 points become 10 Control 6 Shock Absorption 6 Hitting Sound 7 BG 66 Maxima Repulsion 10 Durability 7 – decrease 1 point become 6 Control 9 – decrease 2 points become 7 Shock Absorption 8 Hitting Sound 10 BG 68 Titanium Repulsion 9 – decrease 1 point become 8 Durability 6 Control 7 Shock Absorption 7 Hitting Sound 8 BG 75 Titanium Repulsion 8 – decrease 1 point become 7 Durability 8 Control 6 Shock Absorption 5 Hitting Sound 7 CBG 100 Repulsion 8 – decrease 1 point become 7 Durability 6 Control 10 Shock Absorption 9 Hitting Sound 6 Nanogy 95 Repulsion 8 Durability 8 – increase 2 points become 10 Control 6 Shock Absorption 6 Hitting Sound 7 Nanogy 98 Repulsion 10 Durability 7 Control 8 Shock Absorption 8 Hitting Sound 9 – decrease 1 point become 8
Has someone used BG65P and how is power hitting with P as compared to plain BG65. Has someone felt significant increase in speed/power?
