not really. the Babolat pattern has one fewer mains strings on each side (20x21), while the Adidas pattern is 22x21.
Lol Kwun, you have now and thanks for lending that Adizero Pro to me...I lllluuuvvvvv it!!! If you want to give me an early Christmas gift and post that racket to me, I won't say no....
... must not be tempted to grab the Adipower pro or tour... Want to hold out until the DuoForce is released.
I think I'm more interested in shoes than rackets. Can I expect the Adidas BT Feather to be available in the US soon?
If you like the idea of superlight badminton shoes, the Nike Kobes have served me incredibly well for almost 2 years of weakly use with absolutely no signs of wear. I hope the Adidas ones are just as good, because having options is a good thing....especially when you're a size us13
Yep, try a pair on. Actually don't, because if you try a pair on I guarantee you will buy them. Just like I did. . The Adifeather or whatever they're called Tennis shoes would also work very well for badminton. Any hardcourt shoes will work for badminton. Don't limit yourself, especially if you get less than 8 months out of a pair of Yonex like I do.
haiz, seems badminton racket manufacturing brought them lot of profit.. im afraid bout the quality, are they just selling adidas brand or really high-end racket? lot of different brand came out at the same time really mess consumer...:crying:
These shoe, besides being unusually flat, do seem like they would be decent for badminton, unlike these volleyball shoes that everyone advertises as "being good for badminton too", which is totally wrong. Cushion seems right, weight seems right, design is ugly, height seems right. I suppose the grip is good too because you do need good gripping to the floor to play basket. Only thing that concerns me is support. Badminton shoes are specifically made with a badminton player's movement in mind and while I don't play basketball, it seems like it has much less lateral movement. I guess it can't be bad on that level though.
The rackets are very high quality from what I've seen so far. Yeah... I know a few people like volleyball shoes for badminton; and someone I know uses badminton shoes for volleyball, so it works both ways. Tennis players run more, and badminton players just step in the direction; so the needs for a tennis player is very different for a badminton player. Squash shoes are also a similar story, but they also work well for badminton too.

Yeap, i'm the one using badminton shoe for volleyball. Shoe still going strong somehow. Although it gets boring when picking small stones out of the shoe
