I agree on that. If teams can't even win their division, much less be promoted at least to group 2, they might as well save group 1's strength and call it a 5-0 win against anyone below...I think the system works pretty well now, although it's really time consuming...but this way, ensures that group 1 will feature the most competitive and most entertaining round robin matches, AND lead up to suprising and entertaining semis and finals...it's what drives the ticket sales...if no one wants to host it, maybe i should talk to Badminton Canada:rolleyes:;):p

..the bigger question is, who was the one person who voted for a KOR 3-0 sweep of CHN??..was it drifit?? or was it narnia??.. ;)
..you meant "..losing a single match"..:)..China did lose a few games (some people call "a game" as "a set")..

Does it really matter? The sad fact is there are more "wild" prediction of Korea beating China instead. 15 people voted KOR to win out of the total 29. Who are these "optimisitc" people?;)

    ^^Yeah..^^

..raise your hand if you're one of the 15 people who voted for KOR to win over CHN??..or for that matter, raise your hand if you're one of the 21 people who voted for CHN to finish as runner-ups!..:p;)

As far as I read on the internet, LYB let LD play when LD WANTED. These games were good for him to be prepared for the final both physically and mentally. I guess if LD didn't want to play, LYB would have other guys on.

Maybe it's a little bit late for the discussion, hope it can help you.
