However, if you want sheer speed, very few rackets can beat a panda power precision pro in equal specs.

Thanks. MX60 WAS my 'power' racquet. If rev is faster its worth a go.

Arg, don't bring more racquets into the mix! :) faster than a bs10? I shall not believe it!

Rev with same spec is about same speed as XP70. But it'll hit harder.

Precision Pro is just too noodly soft. BS12 would be much better choice if you want flexy and fast.

^ precision pro is noodly soft? Are you sure you're not referring to the original precision (green) and not the precision pro (matte black)?

I have both versions of the precision and I will agree that the original green precision is quite soft. Doesn't fit me very well anymore.
My precision pro is stiffer than my rev and swings a faster. It's enough for me to mistime quite a few of my backhands.

Exactly what I wanted to hear. How much did mark pay you to say that?

Does anyone know where to get panda racquets like panda power and panda revelation?

D'oh... you're right. This is what happens when I try to work while surfing the forum. :p

I have the PPro too. Very solid, fast and noticeably stiffer than Rev. But not having clearcoat finish is really bad for chips and nicks.

Check out Panda website at DC badminton. You're either looking at Takamsda in Vancouver or ormy in Winnipeg.

I would complain at the hijack but vs a 700? page thread I cannot complain :) I vote we turn this into a very brief Panda model comparison thread. With victor comparisons.

Ah man, I'm going to want a PPro next aren't I? I am a sucker for woven CF though. And the rev seems the right compromise between speed and power which I don't get from MX60.

    XP70: Sold
    MX60: Sold
    Revelation: ordered!

I hope Mark does Eric-style "here is your order" photos. Also coming soon someone who plays with 26lb trying 32.

Revs are here. 2g heavier and 6mm head lighter balance. They feel fast! Testing to commence in just over an hour :) not exactly a fair comparison but my taste has changed to prefer more even balance. Stiffness feels similar from hand flexing.

So how are you liking the BS10 and Rev?
So, now it's my turn to ask you questions :p ... about how they are compared to each other and XP70... the usual attack, defence, speed, feel, stiffness, bp, etc. And also what specs they are, to assist our interpretations.

Reason I'm asking is I'm looking at the BS 10 to add to my Rev and XP70.

That's a tough one as I don't have any of the racquets any more, and didn't have the rev when I had either of the other two. specs, including strings were very varied.

    Very briefly:

    Speed + control: xp70
    Speed + power: BS10
    Power + control: rev

Pm me your email address for me waffling?! :)

Xp70 85/297 (Rkep spec88g). SO fast. Lacked punch.
BS10 87/300. Or was it 295. Awesome power, needed lots of effort but paid it back. Equal speed near as Damnit.
Rev 86/290. Sacrificed some speed, still fast. Hits like a meteor. More stable than BS, can't remember how forgiving xp70 was.

    I wouldn't get another xp. I tried to get BS10 I had/nearly bought, not a chance! I'm collecting a few revs.

Can't compare the rev, I think the others were stiffer but too close to call. BS was stiffer than xp and needed more effort but as it had a longer shaft I could feel it whipping when really hitting hard.

Rev is my favourite, BS10 close second.

    Tks again!

I found the Rev a tad too stiff and wooden for me... hoping the upcoming lighter batch of TP Kevars will yield a good weapon for me. :)
