Indonesia will get gold in : Men's team,MD,WD,XD
    Malaysia : MS,MD
    Thailand : Women's single,WS

    Just my opinion...haha

MD will be 50-50 between INA or MAS

I think LCW, Koo and Tan will play in HK instead so MS and MD gold most likely Indonesia
Boonsak probably will play in HK too. Not sure about NTM.
I think those who are ranked in top 16 will rather play in HK in order to gain Olympic points(except PBSI players maybe)

WS probably goes to Thailand because they have so many good players now. Even if some going to HK. Women team also, depending on the line up.

AFAIK, PT MNC Tbk got 3 TV station, Global TV, RCTI and MNC TV. I hope for the one broadcasting badminton match is MNC TV. Haha, yeah the most shocking one is they have confirmed to broadcast TUC 2012. And if im not mistaken they will broadcast SC 2013 too. Not sure which TV will broadcast World Championship 2011, hoping for MNC TV. :D

RI badminton wants 4 golds at SEA Games
The Jakarta Post | Fri, 06/10/2011 7:31 PM

Indonesian Badminton Association (PBSI) chair Djoko Santoso said the country’s team is aiming for four gold medals at the Southeast Asia (SEA) Games to be held in Jakarta and Palembang, South Sumatra, this November.
Athletes Simon Santoso and pairs Markis Kido and Hendra Setiawan and Nova Widianto and Liliyana Natsir brought home four gold medals at the SEA Games two years ago.
“The Sports and Youth Affairs Ministry has targeted four gold medals,” Djoko said Thursday in Jakarta as quoted by Antara.
Hadi Nazri, the head of the PBSI performance improving division, said the number of players ready for the SEA Games was twice the amount needed for the team team.

If Malaysia won't send LCW, Koo-Tan, and Wong-Chin, I think it is quite realistic to expect 5 golds... The other 2 golds will go to Thailand in WS and possibly the Women's Team... =p

    My prediction :

    MS
No LCW, Simon Santoso should be okay for winning gold medal.

    WS
Very interesting, assuming all top WS from SEA will take part, will be an interesting battle between Gu Juan, Ratchanok, Portip, Firda, Febe.. ;)

    MD
Not sure if Kido/Hendra will play here.. but Bona/Ahsan have big chance here.

    WD
Judging from current perfomance, Greysia Polii/Meiliana Jauhari should be okay for gold medal. Resistance will come from Shinta Mulia Sari/Yao Lei. :D

    XD
Tontowi Ahmad/Lilyana Natsir for Gold medal, Fran Kurniawan/Pia Zebadiah for silver medal. IF they are not in the same half. :p

Could be an overkill in this XD... I would ask Tontowi-Lily to concentrate on the Super Series that coincide with Sea Games... Fran-Pia and Rijal-Debby can take care of business here... :D

I'd like to see them as well. But I'm afraid KONI will say otherwise. They demand 'sure gold', which means we'll see our 1st team playing. :p

KONI demand 'sure gold'?!? Then PBSI should demand 'sure cash' toooooo! :p Hehehehehe... I know the KONI chief is a good lady-leader... too bad the INA government did not give her enough financial support..... Thus, KONI could not support PBSI either...

Meanwhile, PBSI is trying hard (again) to convince Taufik for joining SEA Games squad (again).

    .
Probably, Taufik would say that the SEA Games should belong to younger team members.

Let's wait to hear from an interview with Taufik later. :):):)

PBSI is lazy if they want Taufik to play in Sea Games. They should instead find 1 or 2 MS players from their current young players whom they believe can play well in team event. This will be good for the future Thomas Cup squad.

For individual Men Single, I think SS and Hayom probably good enough if they are fit.

For team, they have SS, Hayom. If they want they can call Tommy to play and he should be strong 2nd or 3rd singles(for Sea Games level). If not, select Vito, Wisnu or whoever else.

4th single who probably will not play at all should be for a young player as well.

Agree definitely. Combination of SS, Tommy, Hayom will be a good squad for ASEAN level. Only MAS if they field LCW, WCH and HH can defeat them :)
