Thats why I am waiting to buy the SHB-65Ft when I fly to Hong Kong later this year or when Mybadmintonstore have more stock for the SHB-65FT
Hi all, I have a pair of Yonex 92MX and looking to buy a new pair of Yonex. I have a few questions on the 65FT/86EX. What is the difference between the 65FT version and the 86EX version? Is the fit different between the two? Is the 65FT slightly better in some way? I will be in HK in May so wondering can you purchase the 65FT there? We will only get the 86EX here in Ireland but they look just as good to me as well. Thanks!
If you are in a store, and that store has both SHB 65FT & SHB 86EX, then try those, you yourself will be able to tell which one you are going to purchase. However, if they don't, SHB 65FT is JP Version, hence it has better material & cushioning to its SP counterpart. Additionally, to what extent does better cushioning & material will prolong the shoes lifespan until it cost twice the SP version, you have to try it on your own. Assuming JP shoes lasted for 2 years, and SP shoes lasted for a year. You will be able to buy 1 brand new shoes with fresh material & cushion each year or 1 JP shoes for 2 years usage. It is your call then..
some prefer jp version over sp version anyway,..shoes once..worn...u cant keep too long..... the glue doesnt lasts..
Haha... Not exactly lower though... It's still high end among EX version... It's a more affordable version for consumers who couldn't afford the JPs.
Yes, correct more affordable is more appropriate word... Have you ever worn both JP Shoes & SP shoes at the same time back & forth from brand new condition, comparing side to side ?
I tried a pair of 86EX on this evening and compared to the 92MX they felt a little bit heavier but not that much. The fit of the 92MX was better and this is what I noticed the most. Little bit disappointed but I suppose the 86 isn't really a replacement for the 92. Still trying to find a pair of 92MX white/red size 27.0cm.
I agree with your opinion, moomoo... 1 SP shoes each year is still economical, hence considerable for me.. 1 JP Shoes each year is much more better... however the cost of JP shoes are almost double than SP shoes on my area. Unless we could purchase our JP shoes on our vacation or business trip at HK, CHN, or JP, 1 JP shoes each year is not my call...
I said this because I lunge really deeply so there are black marks on the inside of my badminton my previous and current SHB-85EX have black marks from lunges on my left foot (I am right handed)
You said try SHB-F1, if I am not wrong these are the replacement for SHB-92s SHB-F1s are the lightest shoes Yonex have made
They are nice webs i used to wear the shb 102's but switched to these and the comfort is alot nicer in these
if you slide your left foot along using the side of your big toe, it should create black marks. If you force yourself down so that your ankle almost touches the ground (which btw is a different angle) you should get a little hole slightly higher then the meta-tarsals (or whatever you call them, the toe-foot joint). YONEX specifically reinforced that area with some extra rubber im pretty sure, so there shouldn't be too many black marks.
Just quick new report, i played a tournament in these today and i found these had everything i needed the grip on them was fantastic and although i cannot judge the durability properly yet i feel like im going to be using these for a while
