    Which is which?

I've had a request from one of my younger players for "yellow" string (see my thread in Buy/Sell), and I've found BG-65 in yellow... two different yellows, to be exact.

    http://www.mybadmintonstore.com/shop/product_info.php?cPath=25_29_52_90&products_id=66

I think the one at the top right corner is what he's after; does anyone know the colour code for this? I suspect it's Amber, but I'm not sure.

Many thanks to any chromatic afficianados who can sort this puzzle out for me!

It's yellow. Check the colour tab in the link and it tells you. If want to be sure just email them and ask them what colour is the top right string.

I emailed Winston who also said it was Yellow. In that case, which one's amber?

Just ask him which one is amber and he will show you.

First male member to post a picture of an Arcsaber 9 with this stuff on should get some kind of prize, especially if he then plays with it:D. I must confess I've never seen this colour before on ANY string, let alone the previously tri-chromatic BG-80. Given how well this stuff takes stencil ink, it made me wonder.

Anybody been able to find any Yonex in a colour similar to grass ("bottle green" we call it in UK)? The only string I've seen come close is Ashaway PG65, and that's got spirals in it.

The platinum gold(092) bg66 is the picture on the right, the left bg65(005) is orange. Very close colours. But i still prefer the orange among all the "yellow" colours that yonex has.:D

*I know the black thread on the floor looks suspicious, but not to worry, thats the slack of a bg66(black) after tie off.:D:D:D:D

The BG66 colour looks just like NBG95 and NBG98.

Yes, they are quite close, but i think the 95 and 98 is slightly darker.

NBG95 is darker but NBG98 is about the same IMO. I don't know why NBG95 is darker than NBG98 in colour even though they are apparently meant to have the same colour.

Is the one bottom left colour code 557 (Flash Yellow) or 004 (Yellow)? Or what is the colour code for BG80 yellow?

    Thanks in advance!

Saw a pic of 004 it in the NBG98 thread but not real clear/bad lighting ...

"We" should complete the list with the colour codes ;)[IMG] (and even better with actual pics)

Is there ANYONE out there that actually likes the lavendar colour? Who came up with that idea? A friend sent me 30 sets so I was forced to use them, but I hate them!

My favourite is the blood red BG68Ti, coolest richest colour ever but they only sell it in Japan

For 30 free sets I could look past it;), but lavendar is like half-arsed purple IMO. I got some BG85 in that colour after MBS had ran out of white - Winston apologised on a note in the order, so he musn't be keen on it either:).

My fave is still probably turquoise, but the true red (top right #31) also works in ANY racket. Sadly, I usually get "wine red" instead, which is a bit darker.

Whilst they come in several colours, red is not one of them ;) Probably you have BG66UM but you can read it off your string itself ... BG80 comes in black though as already mentioned ...
