    Hi,

I recently bought a Voltric 80 3UG5 from Chau Beng at Queensway Shopping Centre. I discovered that the code on the cone is 270412HK.

From what I understand, it means that the racquet is supposed to be distributed in Hong Kong? But I bought it in Singapore. I'm not sure as to whether the racket is authentic. Could someone please advise me regarding this.

    Thanks in advance.

Okay thanks, but by right it should have been SG code at the back right? Hope others can give their inputs as well. My shaft number is 2562994. Bought at 245 SGD and strung with BG 66UM at 25lbs.

You can't tell if it's real on court?

If it's 245 SGD, that's about 190 USD so it should be fine.

I have not played with it yet. Just got it yesterday. I'm just curious about the code as I read in this forums that the country code at the end of the code on the cone is the country where the racket is distributed. But it seems like its not the case...

Yep, I do know that, I bought it in Singapore. So naturally I was curious as to why the distribution code and the country that I bought it from is different. :)

    Beats me.

Idon't think fake rackets are HK coded, usually JP I think.

I guess so. I think I'll have to contact Sunrise Singapore to ask about it.

Dun think the shops in Queensway would dare sully their rep by selling fake racquets.

But my question is: if wanna claim warranty from Sunrise through the shop, would non-SP coded racquets pose any problem?

Yeah!! I am really puzzled about all these "is my racket real" posts.. If you can't tell by playing it why do you even care?? Are players just so gullable that they buy high-end stuff and cant even tell how it should feel????
