throw the rule book at her. knock her on the ground with the rules. drive her crazy with the reading of the rules!!!
Should I leave the funnies out of this forum? Should I just be dry and point out that by throwing the rule book at her means show her the rule where it say 13.3.5 touches the person or dress of a player; is a fault? Should I be so plane and showing the rule and she have no way to get any upper hand next time? Should I tell her to read the rule book and know the rules so no one is crazy or drive us crazy to lookup the rule book and point you the right rule? If so, I will be dry as the desert.
Oops, you misunderstood me there If any post is to the point, it's yours The chitchat refers to the other posts. ...and I'd be the last one standing when it comes to defending humour
Dear Admin, I thank you for your understanding. To Ayame, Beat her with the rule book. Because you have the right rule to back your words up. Be nice to her, no need to gain an enemy. Just make sure next time you smash hard enough at her forehead so the shuttle will bounce back and you can give her that point. Both of you can laugh it off.
In fact, some players always carry the rule book with them. And, yes, it might come in handy in several and unexpected ways Gollum says it here: http://www.badmintoncentral.com/forums/showpost.php?p=717357&postcount=3
I can never keep a straight face while reading all of these replies . I was laughing so hard once that I started choking on my spit . Anyway, thank you for your input, and next time I will definetly smash harder .
For the sake of the younger ones, you actually should have done something. Now if something like this happens to one of them in the future, they will be left standing aswell, since they´ll remember that you did. Always, if there is any problem on a court, get to the bottom of it, even if one side has already won, it´s all about playing and knowing and not really winning.
If this was a major game, I would've taken fiurther action, but I was tired and it was just gym class . As far as setting an example for the kids goes, they were much too far away to actually hear what we were saying, and most of them were either in deep thought or dozing off while they faced us, so the only way they would notice us was if we started yelling.
Woooo~ IMO, it's 3 points for you to the good. 1, Hit opponent on the head 2, Force your opponent to commit a foul 3, Have a chance to really KO her by throwing a rule book What more can you ask for a match winner!
