Doubt that. That's thicker than my VT80's which measures at like 6.8mm. If anything I expect the ZF2 to be even slimmer than that. Certainly looks slimmer based on the comparison images.
I have one pre-ordered. I plan to do full measurements, comparisons and a review once it arrives. I'm a little skeptical though, lots of things about its design I'm not totally convinced I'll get on with, but I do appreciate the thought given to some of the design tweaks.
Ahhh sweet. I like your insights. I really wonder how this will play. Im also concerned about the sound it will make because apparently, it has a sound filter
Converted to sing dollars that will be a rough estimate of $233++?? (Using xe currency conversion) Seems cheaper than what I thought..
SG$ 300 at the Yonex Sunrise online store. SG$ 212 at a Malaysian badminton shop! This is bizarre, to say the least!
Then Sunrise Singapore store set the pricing at the highest recommended retail price.... Whilst Malaysian shop provide retail discount up to 30% .... I wonder how much the pricing for VTZF-2 in Jakarta....
confirm the shaft diameter for ZF2 was smaller than ZF and VT80 ? anyone have latest yonex racket included ZF2 to share?
This is an exciting racket from Yonex and I hope it is better than Nanoray Z Speed. I'm still surprised at the speed in which Yonex dropped the original Z Force. With All Englands approaching it will be interesting to see how many players use this racket. Paul www.badminton-coach.co.uk
Looking at the pictures, the frame oval looks more like the Z-Speed. As earlier comparisation, the head oval from the Z-Speed was different compared to the Z-Slash and Z-Speed. Maybe they integrated some Z-Speed technology in the ZF2. Did the ZF already had the thinnest shaft? If so, there is nothing new about this fact.

I seen this racket today, as our yonex rep had it, sadly I never got to try it but did compare it with my ZF The shaft is quite a bit thinner than my Z Force The Head shape seems very small, however may be due to it being very oval shaped Bill (Yonex Rep) said the racket feels a bit more head light compared to the ZF and a little better on the shoulder compared to the 3U ZF He said the racket feels a bit similar to the 4U ZF The one he was using was UK coded 3UG4
Perhaps its because of the slimmer shaft and more aerodynamic frame that it feels lighter and more managable?
