    there may be more hints but this is what I see...
    1. JP on shaft ... IIRC, genuine JP coded rackets do not have the JP on the shaft (only SP/CH do)
    2. JP racket with chinese tag
    3. laser engraved serial/date code does not look right
    4. shaft serial does not match date code

    SP does NOT mean its NOT made in Japan ... it only means where the racket was distributed to. again, all mid to high end rackets are made in japan
