But you are not a professional player in China team. China has lots of very good players, the ones who make it to the team are the ones who are team players, professional and team minded. The selfish ones will stay in the provinces, even if they may be as good or better than others. The competiton in CHN team is fierce it is quite simple, if WSX or WX wanted to secure their place in OG, they just needed to win win win. If you only loses to china players, you will be selected.

Lin Dan retired due to recurring waist injury, according to the 'organisers'. :D Wow....so many ppl back up LYB's plan. But LD must be careful, dont make these 'injuries' as a sap2 sui one...You might be injured for real.

Competition is CRAZY in China's WS... I wouldn't be able to imagine the stress to compete with so many strong players in your own country. Every night you'll probably have nightmares of youngsters overtaking you and you could very easily get kicked off the national team! For China, those who work hard stays, those to slack off and doze? Bye bye...

Maybe that's why Zhou Mi left..because even professional players do have feelings too and not system-inclined entirely

The session ended much earlier as expected due to no show in one of the disciplines. Can the TV stations ask for a discount or some sort of refunds?

Absolutely. And Pi, Wang C. But china can afford to let them go as them as they were still dominant. China WS is as strong as it has ever been with even third string player Li Han winning in GPG event. The fact they have 5 players in the top 6 says it all. Wang Lin got injured otherwise that would be 6 players in top 7. All this after Lu Lan and Zhu Lin left too..

This situation happens every OG in WS/MS. China team is best place to manage it.

It's another match-fixing by LYB so as to secure 2012 OG qualification for CJ and this is very likely now as PHG didn't do well in a European tournament and is likely to lose his number 4 world ranking. Also CL has not been doing well lately and CJ with his experience is a better bet for the 2012 OG.

Uber Cup is the only major event Wang Shixian look forward to now to prove a point....although it wont really impact the selection outcome.
