r1z1a, I don't read german, but does tennistown.de have a racket testing programme? http://www.tennistown.de/index.php?cPath=25_135_314
Problem is that he lives in Switzerland....testing is only for Germany afaik. They also take quite some money for testing, I'd rather go with bts where you only have to pay for sending them back...
I dont read german too.....Google Chrome is my best friend. @j4ckie do u know if the German BS10 a 3U (http://badminton-total.com/shop.php?gruppe=1&untergruppe1=2) one on here. It seems like so, which will be fine. (since im having to play with a racket i got so my friends and my gf at the time could play with it - and its YY Nanospeed Tour, it feels like jelly, tho sounds meaty on smashes (got BG65ti in pink, and i just cant do it, too girly for me))
No surprising news for me. Stiffness for DE coded: BS10: 5/5 BS11: 4/5 I can get both for you and ship them to your doorstep for 350 AUD.
Is it stiffer or is it because they only comparing KR vs TW? ISn't any BS10 outside TW 5 dots? http://www.victorsport.com/product_data.php?id=oR1kcqZw9QWESq2veMjTq3raxA2li vs http://www.victorsport.com.tw/product_data.php?id=oR1kcqZw9QWESq2veMjTq3raxA2li I see it was already asnwered as well in the meanwhile ..
So i hav decided to get BS10, just a question on a Yonex stringing machine ES5 pro, how much more tenssion do u need to put in with the horizontals. Idealie i want to have like 25/26lb tenssion, but the people in germany do it in kg so on this would i need to go 25v/26h as the machine is quite accurate, or do i need to be difference of 2? (im not sure how this guy will be happy going this high when stringing) Or do i tell him i want 26lb and hope he knows what he is doing in his KG stuff Well i just hope i can get some good responses before i order it. Oh yeah he will be stringing it with VS850 (tho he has white ones which is ok but not great) (if anyone knows about the KG to LB ratios as im not convinced thats its 1:2 as my step dad is telling me, but his approach is like meh its about 500g per pound so must be 2 lb to a kilo...)
simple table - so not precise http://www.yrc.com/tools/kilotable.html actual weight convertor. http://www.onlineconversion.com/weight_common.htm
Super waves 30 launch date Hi, I own a super waves 35 and i loved playing with it.planing to buy another racket and the SW30 looks(spec wise) absolutely fantastic. Does anyone here knows, when this would be available in the market?
A decent german stringer can do this. lbs or kg doesn't matter. Don't go to one of this Intersport/Karstadt/Voswinkel. They are unable to do a good job. If you can't find a decent stringer, you can send me your racket. My stringer strung at sudirman cup 2003 and other events.
google can actually convert it for you, but for your info - 1kg=2.2lbs. In German, there are different 'pound's - one was used in the past (1kg=2pound), and the other one is the 'American pound' (1kg=2.2lbs). So, to avoid confusion with the stringer, go for 12kg - although the VS850 loses much tension, so maybe you should ask if he does a 12,5kg string job. Just out of curiosity - where did you order? Klauer (badminton-total.com)? Afaik, he does reasonable string jobs. Never tested him myself though.
yeah probably order from him, havent done it yet. yeah i will ask him if he can do 12.5kg maybe 13kg if u say they loose tension(tho probably snap before loosing tension) also whats a British pound then??(dont mean the money ) as far as i can tell british pound is same as american and the other one is known as metic pound(thanx to the french for that one) i do believe tensions in rackets are in metric pounds even in america, might be wrong.
Saw this at YouTube regarding the recommendation, specification, explanation and creation reason for Bs LYD. Too bad he spoke in mandarin.. http://m.youtube.com/index?desktop_uri=/&gl=US#/watch?v=m36y3Fwbj00
Well the tension on rackets is the 'normal' pound used by Britains and American. The 'metric' pound is not used anymore, only by some old ppl (those who still convert Euro into D-Mark in their heads whenever they pay ). So, 22lbs=10kg. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise. Also, afaik lbs is only used for the 'American' pound, which should be the same as a British pound. Although the British and American units are confusing. Can't understand why they didn't ever change to the metric system....
Hi Guys, My BS10 has a clicking sound when i flick the racquet. Is my wooden handle giving away? If my assumption is right, anyone has experience fixing this? Many thanks
