Oh, yes. She lost the first set and was down in the second set when I emailed you. But she made a remarkable recovery to win the match . The Japanese have many talented players who should be emerging into the main scene soon. Minatsu Mitani is one of them.

What is the purpose of these "livescores"? Isn't that usually only done when the livescore on tournamentsoftware is down and stream/tv viewers do the udates? In any case the title is as good as in the bag for Axeman . The only one to stop him left was Pang but he seems to have trouble playing Abian so not a giant upset. Although I see now h2h was 3-0 Pang?? Could've sworn he lost at least once ..? Axeman had no trouble disposing of the spaniard at the Dutch so seems a done deal (Red Bull wings?? )
It's like following a Chess match . It's like following a Chess match. Progressive cores can show the flow of the match via the players' state of mind, that is; their upsurge, stability, deterioration, etc, etc, ...... as the match progresses. .

Kaori Imabeppu > Minatsu Mitani > Olga Konon against Mayu Sekiya > Judith Meulendijks & Susan Egelstaff. I suppose Kaori has a slight advantage. I wonder why Marie Ropke isn't with her usual partner Lena Frier Kristiansen .
Kaori Imabeppu is really good. She defends her title by beating Mayu Sekiya 13-21 22-20 21-16. 2011 results: Fri 1/21/2011 1:00 PMWSAditi MUTATKAR[IND] -[JPN] Kaori IMABEPPU19-21 20-22 0:43Eh - Flygbussarna Fri 1/21/2011 6:45 PMWSKaori IMABEPPU[JPN] -[FRA] Sashina VIGNES WARAN [7]21-18 21-18 0:43Eh - Powerade Sat 1/22/2011WSKaori IMABEPPU[JPN] -[JPN] Minatsu MITANI21-14 12-21 21-16 1:05Eh - Wilson Sat 1/22/2011WSKaori IMABEPPU[JPN] -[ESP] Carolina MARIN19-21 21-16 21-8 1:01Eh - Flygbussarna Sun 1/23/2011WSMayu SEKIYA[JPN] -[JPN] Kaori IMABEPPU21-13 20-22 16-21 1:18Eh - Wilson 2010 results: Fri 1/22/2010 11:50 AMWSKaori Imabeppu [7][JPN] -[FRA] Sashina Vignes Waran23-21 21-13 0:42Main Location - 2 Fri 1/22/2010 6:30 PMWSKaori Imabeppu [7][JPN] -[CHN] Xi Zhang21-16 21-19 0:40Main Location - 4 Sat 1/23/2010WSKaori Imabeppu [7][JPN] -[NED] Rachel Van Cutsen [4]21-6 21-15 0:29Main Location - 4 Sat 1/23/2010 10:30 AMWSElla Diehl [1][RUS] -[JPN] Kaori Imabeppu [7]15-21 21-14 17-21 1:06Main Location - 2 Sun 1/24/2010WSKaori Imabeppu [7][JPN] -[ENG] Elisabeth Cann [5]21-15 21-10 0:35Location 2 - .
Yes. Saw Rie and Yu in JB last year. I think they're actually quite good. And their smashes are powerful.
Like the chart on tournamentsoftware ? Although some tournaments without livescore don't have it (iirc) ... I presume you were unaware of the live video stream then which was also available. I notice it wasn't posted here but was at the Estonian one. Surprising MS result. Although Abian is a good player he absolutely got schooled at the Dutch and looked like going that way again when Axelsen surged towards the lead in the first to 19-16. Mark (Phelan) suggested he might be tired after so many matches (for such a young player still) and he certainly looked like lacking energy. Abian celebrated taking the first set like taking a point of Lin Dan instead of beating a 17 year old . I wonder if this is his first international senior title he was so happy with it?
