it's an auction which is still running:- http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=270763363031&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT
I guess for the current price it would be alright. Nonetheless it is still a fake one as it (this particular model) wasn't in production yet at the date of the cone code ... It only was released at this last All England.
I don't think there is a timeline posted anywhere really. Just got to know/find out when a particular model was introduced and then assume roughly 2-3 months max. of production prior to ... I guess the best place to find out is right on this forum by searching/going through this section: http://www.badmintoncentral.com/forums/forumdisplay.php/4-Badminton-Rackets-Equipment
Hi it's me again . I have a few enquiries that i need help with if you wouldn't mind. racket model:Yonex Nanospeed 8000 condition: New shaft serial: 6235283 cone code : 161205UK source: ebay auction price: auction still running OK from the above I can work out that the production date was the 16/12/2010, which would indicate that the shaft serial is too low so this would mean the racket is FAKE?? But it has a UK distribution code and I read somewhere that it is rare to have fake rackets with UK distribution codes. Also I have just checked my ebay watchlist history and there was another Nanospeed 8000 for sale, this time a used racket from a different seller but with exactly the same cone code (161205UK) and a similar shaft code (6235300), does that mean that was a fake aswell? Can someone verify this for me. I usually trust a racket that has a UK code, looks like I will have to be more cautious in future. Thanks.
If those numbers are correct then yes they would be fake based on the digits. It is indeed rare to bump into a fake UK code ... Got the link? Can't seem to find it, or you can private message it ...
Here is the current one:- http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=190546495702&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT and here is the one from before: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=160587083719&ssPageName=ADME:X:RTQ:GB:1123
Did you ask for the shaft serials coz I don't see them mentioned or pictured? And the UK doesn't have G5 gripsize so wouldn't even be possible to be a genuine UK version ... Likewise here's supposedly a version destined for the japanese market but in Japan they don't come with the ArcSaber bag: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/yonex-arcsabe..._Sporting_Goods_Badminton&hash=item2c5d6a50df
yea I asked them for the shaft serials and they sent it by PM. I saw those other items he was selling and knew they were probably fakes, it was just the UK code that made me wonder if it could be genuine
Ok I got another one that i wanna check out, I'm more confident this one should be genuine, and I really want this racket. racket model:Yonex Voltric 70 condition: Used shaft serial: 9554872 cone code : 100802UK source: ebay auction price: auction still running
Can someone help me with this one:- ---->8---- cut here (include this line) ---->8---- racket model: Yonex Nanospped 850 shaft serial: 6210368 cone code : 070114UK source : ebay ---->8---- cut here (include this line) ---->8---- is it made on 07/01/2014? doesnt make sense to me. just saw few post said got fake UK numbers too. can you find out for me thanks William
---->8---- cut here (include this line) ---->8---- racket model: Yonex Voltric 80 shaft serial: 9660217 cone code : 101102JP source : ebay ---->8---- cut here (include this line) ---->8---- Can someone verify this serial # for an Ebay purchased racquet....
070114UK means the production date was 07/01/2011. The Nanospeed 850 is a fairly new racket, so the date seems ok, but I'm not about the shaft serial, I think these are made in Taiwan so not sure how the shaft serial codes relate to the production date codes there.
Also they had a barcode on the handle wrap (where the handle is on top of the wrap) the no of the bar code is 4 547656 648959 I really cant distinguish between the fakes one from the real ones. they all look real
Ooops, I should've found this before posting my thread! There's an ebay seller claiming to have something he's calling "Class G" rackets which he claims are made in the Yonex factory but 'painted in China', yet they have JP codes on them that he says can't verified because they're 'Class G'. All sounds dodgy to me, but a pretty elaborate story. I'd assume that 'factory seconds' would just be destroyed. Anyone have any insider info?
Hi, just got this from ebay guy said it was genuine, from a reputable dealer just wanted to be sure: racket model:Yonex ArcSaber 008 condition: Used shaft serial: 5526755 cone code : 120104UK source: ebay auction price: £40 + 4.99 P&P Thanks
