Hi guys, I've got a quick question here any need your suggestions. I currently own a sw37 and its a very good offensive/smashing racquet however sometimes when I play defensive/drive its like lacking of speed somehow. So I am now looking into the BS series of racquets. Any suggestions? I usually play doubles.
bro, the one and only is mx60. good smashing power and the speed is par as bs series. if u want reduce the feel of headheavy and increase maneuverability just put a little weight at but cap e.g. double wrap etc. my mx60 wet balance is around 289mm instead of 297mm. i think it helpful so much.
Speed at par with BS series? No kidding? But MX series in Malaysia now way overpriced... It was about RM500 last year around November but its nearly RM600 this year. Feel not worth it...
bs price just below that. the most important is how the racket work for u. anyway that only my suggestion.
Uhh.. not below... is much below that assuming MX60 price same as mx70 and mx80. BS series now cost about around RM420 to RM450 with grip and string.
I haven't tried the mx60, but I find it hard to believe it's as quick as the bs. If you want a bs racket with same flex and head heavyness as the sw37, I'd say bs09 comes closests.
According to specs it should be cause BS09 spec is rated medium flex and slightly head heavy. Just wonder if it will be alot different from my sw37(medium flex, slightly head heavy after gripping and stringed even though rated as balance). If more to similar there will be no point getting it haha. Actually I also thought of getting something a little bit stiffer to get more control...
You are correct, but you asked for a BS without any info, so I assumed you wanted something close to the spec you had but with BS tech. On the other hand my favorit BS is the BS11. Love the extra stiffness compared to the BS09 and SW37.
Hi, u can try Chris (Spore) who sells MX60 for SGD200 including shipping and Victor string. Is your SW37 3U or 4U? Mine is 4U which give me good smashing power and defensive drive and clearance as well. Some net shots are quite accurate also. But it is a bit demanding when u look for maneuverability. I heard from the BCers that MX60 not only has good smashing power but also easy to maneuver and speedy, which is attracting my attention now
My sw37 is 3U... If im not mistaken 3U sw37 produce better smash not taking skills and technique into account ofcourse... Btw, the moment I buy it is already standard that the suppliers only provide 3U. Chris from Singapore? Is he a BCer as well? got link?
So, I have to email and ask him to quote me the price? The website doesnt show price for any of the racquets...
Re SW30: Sorry, was in some competitive games last night, so had to switch back to my usual trusty sword MX80. Which by the way never ceases to amaze me! Sometimes I wonder why I even bother looking at other rackets at all. from rkep Eric, but you'll have to deal with him via email. Even then he had trouble sourcing one because it's a very recent release.
visor, remember to add the spec of the sw30 to the absolute weight thread. I did remember to bring my digital scale to the shop as your suggested when I got my mx60. they had a sw30 as well. Including the plastic handle wrap mx60 (4u) - 87.5g sw30 (4u) - 85g good job the 4u mx60 is within my prefer racket spec of 85-87g. Otherwise I wouldn't have got it. I was guessing the plastic wrap is around 2-2.5g?
Buy racquet from SG online send to malaysia got tax? Quick question guys, if I buy racquet online from singapore and post to Malaysia. Will there be any import tax imposed?
