I don't know why BCL didn't smash much. From what I remember, for the whole match, he only smashed 3 times, 2 forehand and one backhand.

FYI, CJ(best result being WC silver medalist) & CL won nothing this year in contrast to BCL who won german open, Asian game, Singapore open & Japan Open just this year alone.

If BCL doesn't deserve to be in China badminton team, I don't know who else deserve to be in except Lin Dan.

If you watched BCL against LCW it was obvious he have some trouble with his knees / thighs (injury).

If the knee/leg hurts when you are pushing the limits, it is often players do not go for the offensive shots, as these are the ones who require the most explosivenes to follow up (and to keep the attack if the defence is good)

I am his fan and it's sad that he is injured, thus contributing to his poor performance.

Taufik was the first match, maybe the injury got worse the more he played.

Both Taufik and BCL were either injured or in poor form.

Yes, and it seems Bao hurts again when he vs LCW in day 3...

I believe he is definitely deserve to be in China badminton team, and what i appreciate him the most is his attitude toward his failure, he updated his blog and said that "injury is not an excuse" for the failure after Park's match.

nonono, his injury cannot recover fully. Actually his coach, Zhong bo said that he is not suitable to play badminton anymore becoz of his injury. But he choose to insist:(

I am not sure about that, but he said that the percentage of successful surgery is not high, that's why he choose not to get surgery.

He choose to insist...And i think there are no reasons for China team to ax him, he got such good result this year:)
