Notice my pic compared to Vien's - I am a little more artistic then just whacking the trophy on the bathroom sink! Its sitting in its natural environment - the badminton court
Anthony when your badminton career is over at least you have photography to fall back on. Can't say the same for your trophy hunter friend. Funny that I rarely see you guys practicing/playing social games together on Saturday nights.
Not teaming up in socials or practicing together is the secret to our success. It means that our game will look incohesive, confusing and bedazzling our opponents giving us the winning advantage ... as proof i offer our tournament trophy ratio so far this year 2/3 (not winning Melbourne uni's B grade)
hi, can any one give me the location of this social?? .. and how to get there by train and bus.. i live in CDB.. SO FAR!! LOL thanks
There is a map at : http://www.titanbadmintonclub.websyte.com.au/site.cfm?/titanbadmintonclub/2/ There are many players who live around the CBD area that may be willing to give you a lift. Let me know and I will put you in contact with someone. Ash
Noooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!! Dammit, now everyone wanting internation points is going to enter in the CBA Open ... meaning they'll get more then 64 entries hence points not garentee
Update the website already Ash ... promote the fact that you have Champs like me and Anthony playing at Titans
Ashley will test your badminton skills, and most likely take you out back slip on a rubber glove and give you a full physical before allowing you to play. So come prepare to bend over and cough
Yes it is the "Art of playing badminton without playing badminton". Sensei Anthony and Vien just meditate on top of Mt Dandenong and only come down from the mountain to win a tournament and then go back up it They contemplate if one hand clapping, and if a tree falls in a forest without anyone there, will it make a sound etc etc. - Bedazzled so far? See its working already!! And we haven't had to resort to our fluorescent yellow Titan shirts either (secret weapon to be used at Open level only) AHEM! Mr Booeee, the B grade at Melb Uni was a WARMUP for C grade the following day, our ratio is still perfect 2/2 = 100%
Thanks Ash, but my badminton career will never be over, its like breathing air to live, with life comes badminton!!!!!!!!! {lucky someone's wife would never be reading this badminton forum hehehe}
I just check the entry form it looks like Open/D/B are on saturday and A/C on sunday so that means its not possible to play Open & B
So in that case are we going to make the Open double a warm up to C grade the next day for the CBA tournament this year
No Badminton for the next 2 Saturdays :crying::crying::crying::crying::crying::crying: Our venue is unavailable for the next 2 weeks due to building works. So no Saturday night badminton at Titans for the next 2 weeks. Ash
Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!:crying::crying::crying: What can I do now? Badminton withdrawal....can't take it
Good News : Our Saturday night badminton will resume tomorrow at the usual time, 8pm. (One week earlier than expected) Ash
I cannot believe the discussion going on in the CCC Badminton thread. Has anyone read it yet ? Wow the truth can be so distorted when only one side is heard. I won't discuss it further as it only brings hurt to one person.
It's past, it's over and time has/should healed at least some/one/all. Don't need to bring it out again, especially on a public forum read by the whole world. Only IDIOT does that!!! Let's MOVE ON.
