Hi madbad, basically tonight, its drop in only, all 12 courts are designated for drop in. You come in, pay your 6 bux, sign in at the front desk, if you came as a pair, you will receive a number and stay together the whole night if you wish. Drop in supervisor will be assigning court allocation all night long.

So if I came alone I could be grouped randomly with any 3 players by the drop-in supervisor?

I'd be your partner if it wasn't my friend's birthday today (going out for dinner). :(

I'd recommend you come with a partner for obvious reasons, but yes, you will in fact be paired with 3 random people. Coming with a partner helps obviously as a person coming by themselves would need to be paired with another individual who came alone.

    Thanks for taking the advice.

Is this Friday drop-in 7:00pm - 1:00am only a trial or going to be on for every Friday?

What is the max number of people allowed to signup? Also would like to know if 4 friends come, can they stay together for the whole night.. we won't mind wait a bit longer to get a court.

I know there is a saying that if 4 ppl come, you should book a court... but booking a court is not available since all your courts will be for drop-in. Also $6 for over 5 hours of play is a good deal.

Well, its a bit of a trial, if its popular enough, I think it will be implemented. I know its a good deal, hoping to meet many eager badminton enthusiasts young and old. As for staying together the whole night, the drop in supervisor will do their best to accomodate, you are however lkely to get more playing time but just playing where you are assigned to.

However about max number of people allowed to sign up? Trying to estimate average wait time here.

This is a great deal. Knowing most of my friends, we won't play more than 3 hours for drop in. With this 6 hour time slot, it lets people drop in at various times and still be able to get their 2-3 hours of badminton in. Some people start at 7 pm finish at 10 pm, while others start later 9 pm and finish at midnight.

Thanks guys!!! But with another kid = less badminton. At least for the 1st year. MX80 already sold to my friend. It's his backup to his own MX80.
